I brought my son with me to see Allegiance with Lea Salonga and George Takai. We were in the balcony in the back. We could see perfectly and hear perfectly. The acoustics were excellent! Aside from the fact that this musical was absolutely terrific - what a cast! - this theatre is terrific because every seat in the house is... More

I hold season tickets to this gem of a theater. Tonight we were treated to a play written in the 1940's. Classic theater. Beautiful costumes terrific actors and a great director & creative leadership make this theater a must see. If your in town take your time walking to the theater. The surrounding park is lovely in all seasons. Make... More

The theater itself is comfortable with most seats having good visibility to the stage. The productions are well acted and directed with a lot of variety in each season. Though I might not have chosen to see each show , as a season ticket holder I have never left a show or felt it wasn't worthwhile.

We attended a play but also went on a tour ($5 per person). Quite interesting and play was very good - Time & the Conways. We sat in the balcony second row for $33 per person - seats were excellent - you don't need to spend any more than this unless you want to throw $$ away. Purchase of ticket... More

We have been subscribers for 20+ years. While we have enjoyed some plays more than others, they are always very well produced and really well acted,

I have been a season ticket holder for 30 years. The plays in the last few years have improved a lot and in many cases, especially in the summer, the Old Globe makes a great venue for theater enjoyers.

I am not sure if it was just because great performance but we both loved the theatre. Kind of "old fashion" building, very nice

This is a great place to see a show. My boyfriend and I got a chance to see "Other Desert Cities" last year, it's a play about a family from Palm Springs. I really enjoyed the experience. It had been a long time since I'd seen a play. If you're itching for a theater experience, see if you can snag... More

We went here for A Winter's Tale. It was a very dark, dramatic play, however the performance was great. Parking wasn't an issue because we went in the evening and walked from the main parking lot about a block's length away. The venue is very nice and the staff friendly. I love live theater, and I loved it here.
