Description: Public and private 3 hour sailing charters aboard the authentic 1992...
Public and private 3 hour sailing charters aboard the authentic 1992 America's Cup racing yacht, Stars & Stripes USA-11. Take the helm, grind the winches, or just hang on as this amazing high performance racer zips around San Diego Bay at twice the speed of the average sailboat. A truly unique and memorable experience. Soft drinks, water, peanuts, & pretzels are provided at no cost. You are welcome to bring your own camera, but a crew member will be taking complimentary photos & videos of all the action on board as well as the sights of San Diego Bay. After the sail, complimentary refreshments are served while viewing the days activities on our large screen monitor. The photos & videos will then be posted on Picasa Web Album for free access and use. The total cost of $100 for adults & $50 for children (18 & under) is the best value and most exciting venue on San Diego Bay.

I've been sailing in Michigan since I was a little boy starting in the late '60s. Our family owns an E Scow that we still sail every summer. My Dad, my brothers and I have probably over 1,000 hours of sailing experience including Regatta's all over Michigan and the Midwest. However, nothing could compare to the experience of sailing on... Aside from the fabulous 3 hour sail on an exciting historic sailboat we saw all the sites of San Diego Bay. Both my wife and I had a chance to helm the boat and the captains and crew were friendly and had lots of information on the sights of the bay. We saw a US sub heading out to sea.... More

Sailing on the USA-11 was truly a fun, fast and fabulous way to experience yachting and the San Diego harbour. Lynn, B & the crew are so friendly and they get everyone up and involved in sailing the boat. Leaning back as the boat sails fast along the edge of the water past everyone else in the harbour is exhilarating!... More

Great experience all around. The captain and crew were a pleasure to sail with, sailing the harbor is the best way to see it and USA-11 is a beautifully fast boat to sail. All onboard get the opportunity to 'grind' the winches and steer the ship. On my list for the next time we're back in San Diego.

Outstanding time on our sail, thanks to the Captain & Crew. Not often that a land lover from Texas gets a chance to take the helm of an America Cup sail boat.

Having always been thrilled by America's Cup, we found it fun to go out on this historic America's Cup style boat Sail Stars and Stripes in San Diego. The crew was very helpful in showing us how the entire crew works together to manage the boat. The day out on the bay was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This sailing tour was amazing! I’m very interesting in sailing, and for me it was just a great experience to sail on the Stars and Stripes! There’s nothing to compare, the speed, the impressive manufacturing, the materials… We were a small group and the crew was very friendly, also offering us some small food and taking great pictures, we could... Sailing aboard the Stars and Stripes is one of "the most incredible adventures" you could have in San Diego. We sailed last Saturday to celebrate my husband's birthday and it couldn't have been more fun. All the participants had an opportunity to sail this beautiful boat in San Diego harbor and also help the crew if they wished. We had... More

I spend last Saturday afternoon racing across San Diego Bay on Stars and Stripes. We had 15+ knots of wind and easily had her over 12 knots. Mark, the captain was very personable and the crew very helpful. They made sure my 93 godmother - a frequent guest on S&S was comfortable and even set a specific course so she... More

A perfect afternoon, certainly not the typical crowded tourist boat. An excellent captain and crew who made everyone feel comfortable. Everyone who wanted a time at the helm, got it; even precious 92 year old Barbara. Beautiful boat, excellent shape, great sail...whether you are an accomplished sailor or novice, this will be one of the best times/sails of your life.... More
