Did some boogie boarding and digging in the sand. A very nice beach. We were sort of central, and there were no facilities attached to the beach that I could see.

Very beautiful beach, the most beautiful we have been to in San Diego. The waves are great and the sand is powdery.

We arrived at Mission Beach and there was heaps of parking available. This beach is very family orientated with an amusement park, cafes, ice cream etc. The beach was clean and lots of space for sunbathing/family activities. There is a boardwalk along the beach front where the cafes and bars are located.

Went to Surfari for surfing lessons with my 12 year old. Great time and great people especially the instructor Gavin.

We visited here on a slightly rainy yet warm day (it never rains in So Cal!!), but this didn't really spoil it. I liked it but it wasn't my favourite beach in California this trip. Nice walk along the promenade. Disappointed by Belmont park though; slightly tacky and half the things weren't open and it was a Saturday.

Nothing more to say, this beach boardwalk and pier is beautiful! We would definitely go back and stay at one of the beach front hotels. Enjoy your time there, we did!

When you think of southern California, this is what should come to mind. Beach boardwalk to ride bikes, skateboard, rollerblade, and people watch. There are restaurants and shops just a block or 2 away all along the boardwalk and the bay a few blocks beyond that. The ocean is great for surfing, boogie boarding and bodysurfing. The water is much... More

This is a beautiful beach, but lots of seaweed and bugs. There is public parking and we had no trouble finding a spot at 1pm on a Wednesday. There were lots of people but it didn't feel crowded. Great swim, fun spot to hang out for a couple hours.

Tough to find parking but worth looking to take in a view of the beach. Many restaurants and shops to visit along the strip as well.
