We loved Mission Beach! I think the carnival-like boardwalk section is called Belmont Park. The teens loved the wooden roller coaster. There are also a bunch of kiddy rides and games for little kids. The actual beach was very nice and clean. We loved it! more

We stayed at the Dana Inn and could drive right over to the beach often. (May 2005). Very relaxing just reading on the beach, people watching, watching... more
