Nice atmosphere

It was just beautiful to wonder around the area by bike at sunset. Lot of people jogging, cycling, chatting, drinking. Great place

Rent a bike and cruise the board walk. Grab some coffee and food from a local shop and enjoy the sunset. The sand is clean and soft and there is so much to do as the bay is just a block away. The intimate streets are perfect for strolling around.

Have a burger at Kono's , rent a bike, walk the Crystal Pier...get out before the partying begins. This area is fun for the day. There is an amusement park and nice beach.

3 miles of beach with restaurants, little shops nearby. Great place to rent a bike or go for a stroll.

We were going to just stop by and look at Mission Beach during our trip, but we cancelled our trip to the zoo and returned the next day to bask in the sun, play in the sand and even frolic in the chilly waves. As sun-starved Seattleites, this was exactly what we needed. Perfect laid-back vibe for us and not... More

Great to walk along the board walk. Lots of interesting houses and people, They have widened the boardwalk, so it is great for bike riders, walkers and runners.

Well worth the trip to experience the Mission Beach Roller Coaster, a wooden roller coaster, built in 1925 right on Mission Beach in San Diego. So cool!!! Remember to put your hands in the air!

This beach was beautiful the sand was kept very clean. And there was a lot to do volleyball and basketball courts and a beautiful boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants.

A favorite beach of mine. Clean, lots of shopping and eating, and tons of parking. Boardwalk needs to be redone concrete wise but still a great walking / bike path.

I wasn't here for long, so maybe I needed to spend more time at MB. It was crowded and the town looked like it needed some upkeep or renovations. Perhaps I need to go back and spend more time there....
