Amazing!

I loved seeing all of the animals and walking around. The animals all seemed very happy. This was my favorite attraction in San Diego.

It's big, so be ready to walk, but there are trams as well. The food offered there is mediocre and expensive, but a picnic is allowed. The animals were mostly viewable even though it was hot. Fun day with the family.

We had a great time exploring the zoo. It was my second trip and was just as good as 13 years ago. They are really working on new areas and exhibits including a new one for the Koala Bears, Lots to see and easy to get around. A great variety of animals and food

Clearly one of the premier zoos in the world. 120 acres of animals in natural settings. Take the bust our when your first come in. It will help you decide where you want to go and what you want to see. There is lots of walking so water comfortable shoes and loose fitting clothes. Don't be disappointed if many of... More

Very large zoo with lots of interesting species. Parking free and entrance price fair. Zoo is nicely set with plenty of trees etc making it a pleasant walk around. Giant Panda superb but get to see them early before the crowds build. Some cages a little small fior the big cats but overall the nimals are well presented and seem... More

We were deciding between the Zoo and Sea World, and we are glad we chose the Zoo! Not only were the tickets a lot cheaper, but we were able to pack in our own food and drinks, which cut down on the cost a lot! Plus, no charge to park! We got there at opening and spent the first half... More

This was my first time there, and it is a beautiful zoo. It was quite crowded, and we had a big group - so we chose to do the double decker bus tour (sat on the top) and that helped us see a ton without havingt o walk all over. We also really enjoyed the Chinese acrobat show.
