Seaport village was a very neat area, and beautiful with the layout and landscape. The shops are expensive. I felt like the village was a little overrated, but it was nice to walk through. The area with the view of the ocean was the most beautiful. I would walk through it again, but wouldn't stop to buy anything.

The walk along the seawall is good exercise and very popular with people of all ages. There are wonderful little shops and restaurants all along the harbor which extends from the Convention Center all the way to the USS Midway museum.

Lots of novelty shops here, a few of interest: wind chimes, Indian jewelry and EC Galleries are long-time favorites that we visit every time. The new outdoor swings and hammocks is a fun store with some good value unique "souvenirs" to bring San Diego to your own outdoor home environment. There is plenty to keep you busy in this area with shops and restaurants and views of the bay. It is a bit touristy, so if you're really looking for a local experience, I would not recommend this, but it is great for some beachside shopping.

Seaport Village is always one of our favorite spots in San Diego, there are cool shops from unique gift shops, to tee-shirt shops, to art galleries, to magic shops and even a Tervis outlet. Some of the shops remind me of port shopping on Caribbean cruises. There is also a carousel, but we didn't really check that out at all.... More

Cute area. Nice to stroll through and check everything out. Lots to see and do. The shops are quite touristy...so if you are looking for serious shopping, head to Fashion Valley. Having said that, this is a must visit when in San Diego...if only for the people watching! :)

One cannot imagine all of the shops and restaurants in the Seaport Village. If you have time for dinner come here and eat and enjoy the shops.

If you are looking for a nice little walk this is the place to go. There are lots of touristy shops and lots of little dinning places. We ate at 2 of the resturants. Edgewater Grill and San Diego Pier Cafe. Both had good food and nice views of San Diego Harbor and Coranado Island. The shops are nice to... More
