Seaport Village is one of those places that you can go to over and over again. There is always something new to do or to see. The shops are unique with things you would actually buy! The kids love the food court and the view from the pier. They also have a restaurant right out on the water, we eat... more

What is there not to love about Seaport Village? Designed by Disney's imagineers, it has the quaint feeling of a coastal village from the East Coast. Strolling through Seaport Village, there are all sorts of surprises ranging from handmade hammocks to fantastic fudge. Sounds of Peru pipe out of the courtyard as the carousel, imported all the way from Texas,... more

This place is gorgeous. Walk around the water, have the kids play in the lush green fields, excellent food. Very charming atmosphere. There is a restaurant (don't remember the name) which stands on the water. They have wonderful fish n chips. Great place for the whole family. And parking is free if you get the ticket validated. more

Lots of touristy shops and restaurants which could be anywhere and don't reflect much specific to San Diego. There were some street performers we enjoyed watching and it was nice to be down by the water. Plenty of other places in San Diego to spend your time. more

True, Seaport Village is kind of "tourist-trappy" and expensive, but its a nice place to wander for other reasons too. You can stroll along the harbor area, enjoy a rest on grassy areas, get souvenirs to take home, and of course the endless photography opportunities. The day I was there, a Kite Festival was taking place and the myriad shapes... more

We researched attractions near our hotel during our recent "long weekend" stay in San Diego. We had heard that Seaport Village was "not to be missed". We planned our whole evening around it - including shopping time and a nice dinner while there. Even though the weather may have played a role, we found it all a bit "iffy" and... more

I'm in San Diego often on business and for pleasure. Seaport Village is where I go to find the unique shops and to stroll along the harborside just to watch people and the navy ships as they come in. Certainly during winter weather you should have a coat , but even in summer weather it can often be windy along... more

Our first night in the San Diego area, we came to Seaport Village. It was an okay start to our trip. What it is - a touristy shopping/dining center with some cool, unusual, and interesting knick-knack shops Why you'd go - to kill some time, for a nice San Diego t-shirt, mug, or hat, or to view the harbor Who... more
