Upfront ... parking can be a challenge. If you can take the trolley downtown and then walk over to Seaport Village, that could be a viable option. Lots of cute shops with a variety of items for sale - clothing, beachy items, soaps, Christmas, toys, plus. Lots of restaurants and cafes - I tend to go for the Greek -... More

If you're staying in any of the hotels along the waterfront near the convention center, you'll walk by the Seaport Village with all the little shops and restaurants and a tiny duck pond. Pretty to stroll through and lots to eat and lots you can buy if you want that sort of thing. Some of the restaurants are good, some... More

I enjoyed strolling around the little shops and walking along the beautiful water. There were tons of friendly people and a lot of interesting things to look at. There was also a band playing for tips in the courtyard and they were fabulous. I'm glad I happened across this spot and felt comfortable and safe walking around solo. I would... More

You can't beat the view. The shops are a bit touristy, but hey, you're at the beach. Relax. The antique carousel is beautiful. Parking is a bit challenging. Be sure to validate your ticket. Also, most shops do not have air conditioning, which shouldn't be a problem most days of the year.

We were taken to Seaport village by the Old Town Trolley bus. We really didn't have time to look around because our tour was ready to leave. However, the next day we caught the bus to The Broadway and took the 10 minute walk to Seaport. There are lots of shops selling everything from sportswear to Wyland Art. It is... More

If you go here there's nice views along the water. Don't bother with the overpriced restaurants or stores. There is a lot of shaded outdoor seating though which is nice.

My husband and I visited Seaport Village near sunset and the views were just beautiful. There are shops, but not an abundance. There are several restaurant options and we chose one with a great outdoor patio (actually many had outdoor patios facing the water). We enjoyed it, but would not make this a main attraction. It would be a nice... More

The restaurants are good, the shops are full of tchotchkes. But still fun to walk around as you take in the rest of the boardwalk
