One day i went to Sea World and saw the most amazing sight. A massive Orca Whale being ridden by a trainer. I never knew that there was a job where you get to swim, trian, feed, and do shows with Orcas, dolphins, and whales. When i was watching the Sea World "Believe" show i leared to let myself believe... more

I went to Sea World in San Diego in June - had not been there in years - compared to the San Dieog Zoo and also to Disney World where we went last year - it was pretty pricey - and while the shows are excellent - there are few rides and the food is very expensive and personally I... more

I don't know what all these people are complaining about. Yes its expensive, but most theme parks are. And of course you don't get to interact more with the animals. Do you get to climb into the cage at the zoo? They are WILD animals that deserve to not be poked and prodded by people constantly. My children, husband, and... more

My family of 5 has been to several other marine animal parks and exhibits, but since we were visiting SD, this is the grandaddy of them all and a must see, right?? Wrong. I will say that the dolphin, sea lion, and Pet shows were all terrific, but everything else was ho-hum and I am including the much acclaimed Shamu... more

If you choose between the Zoo and SeaWorld, don't even think - the Zoo is so much better. We thought we would either see a lot of animals and fish, or have fun at attractions. But the exposure to animals was very, very limited. There are a few shows, such as killer whales, sea lions, dolphins and small animals, but... more

We spent a day at Sea World on a 3 for 1 pass that included the SD Zoo and Wild Animal Park. We paid extra for the Dolphin Interaction which allows you to be with a trainer and not in the water. We got to feed and touch a dolphin. We thought it was worth the money. We also paid... more

We love the sea creatures. I followed trip advisor advise and we went first thing to see them feed the dolphins and got some great up close pictures of dolphins without spending any extra money and saw them do tricks. Then went to the bat rays and it wasn't crowded yet and we had a great time feeding them. Shamu... more

Anheuser-Busch offers active military a free ticket along with up to three dependents. Sounds great. Our base won't give our daughter an ID until she's 12, this place wants an ID when they turn 10. That would have been fine, but Sea World was especially arrogant and insulting to me and my family and wanted me to "prove she's your... more

This is my third trip to Sea World, my last being 16 years ago. During our last visit, there was a lot of construction going on which made access to several exhibits difficult. I naively assumed that this construction would create a more exciting park. It didn't. It's just as boring as ever, though even more expensive than ever. One... more
