Fun day

Very fun. Went during the week and wasn't quite as busy. Loved the baby whale. Go early and catch Biff in the sea lion show. Hilarious!

We were debating wether to go to the zoo or Seaworld, we asked a couple of locals, and they all said Seaworld, specially since it was hot out. I went with my 9 year old, she had a great time becuase she was able to pet so many sea animlas. It was very interactive, and the shows were spectacular. we... More

I had high hopes for SeaWorld, since I heard so much about it before visiting. Even with all the controversy about whether or not the orcas (and other animals) should be kept in captivity or not, I was interested to see how the animals were kept. There is a lot to say about studying these animals up close which might... More

We live here in SD and I've been three times in my 40 years each visit about 10 years apart. My first impression was not good as we entered a $16 parking fee, yikes! But it was nice when we got in. There was petting tanks right at the entrance so you could pet sharks and stick your hands into... More

I've been to Sea World in Florida several times and was excited to visit the Ca one for the first time. The rides were good and exhilarating. The shows were, as expected first rate and very professional. The issue with the shows is that every single one of them is outdoor with no roof, which means in the roasting hot... More

I took my 4 yr old here last week and out of the three parks we visited (SD Zoo and Safari Park), SeaWorld was his absolute favorite. We got there right at opening which is perfect because the crowds don't start showing up until about noon so we got to see the whole park at our own pace and finished... More

I have been to SeaWorld several times and find it to be less interesting each time. The animal shows/exhibits were uneven, some were reasonably engaging, others were tedious enough we saw a steady stream of people walk out the door mid-show. This is a small park that can easily be done in one day.

What can I say, the park was great the new fish thing as you enter is fun too! I almost died laughing as the fish ate away my old dead skin on my hands. Free manicure just wish I could stick in my face too! Head to AAA if you can before hand, they have discount tickets that offer a... More

We were a group of 18. Had kids ranging in ages from 8 to 16. We all enjoyed the shows and the rides.

SeaWorld is all about going to the shows. Pick the right ones for you and happiness will abound. Miss what you want to see and you will not have a great time. There is precious little to do but the shows, however that's OK as they are very well done for the most part. I didn't mind the entrance or... More
