As a visitor from overseas, what surprised me most about Seaworld is the emphasis on wham-bam family entertainment rather than education. Make no mistake, the dolphin, sea lion and particularly killer whale shows are slick and visually impressive, but I couldn't understand why the shows did not try to educate the public more about the animals by adding more detail... We have been fans of Seaworld for many years but now the places are getting tired. The main attraction was the Shamu show but like other reviews state trainers don't now enter the water, (I was told they still wanted to but couldn't now get insurance). I believe the tide is now turning against Seaworld and places like them.

We took our 10 year-old daughter for a day. The first thing we hit was the option for close-up parking which was great as my wife has arthritis and we got parked next to the main entrance. We went at the end of Spring Break so the park was somewhere short of busy but was not quiet either. My daughter... More

The shows were great and they had many animal exhibits to see. We easily spent the whole day there. I recommend doing one of the things where you get to go into the exhibit and feed the animals personally. I haven't done it myself but I would like to and my friends said that it was a once in a... We chose to pick between either the zoo and Seaworld and we choose Seaworld because we have a world class zoo back home that's free but we don't have a place with sea mammals. We went on a Friday and arrived at 1:30. We were able to see all of the animal exhibits, rode the Manta and saw the One... More

Lovely place, full of fun, smiles and memories. We hit every show and each one was AMAZING! We came from Alaska where we see these animals in the wild on a regular basis. I recommend Sea World to all ages. The only thing I thought wasn't worth the price was the dining all day....complete rip off. Disgusting food and cafeteria... More

This review is independent of the controversy surrounding Orca whales in captivity, though a few comments at the end. I took my 6 year old son to Sea World for a day. We found the number of exhibits and their quality/interest level to be quite limited. The rides are few in number and while fun, don't really add up to... More
