We visited Sea World, Orlando a few years back and our recent visit to Sea World, San Diego did not top our prior visit nor did we notice anything new for our recent Sea World visit. We ended up feeling that we should have given this pricey visit a miss. Sea World is not very big but you will be... More

Not much to see or do at Sea World San Diego. I have been to Sea World in Florida and was far more impressed. Went on a Thursday and half the food lines were closed making for long lines to get food. Only one Shamu performance because of weekday. Best part was the Arctic section! Loved it.

expensive for what you get, shows, rides, water animals. Not a very big park, show times can be tough to make-constantly watching your watch. some shows had too much Circus style stuff going on with people- we are more interested in the animals. Some shows were too short and a lot of the attractions were closed. the food and drink... More

I have been to Sea World many times, but not in years. It sure has gone downhill. Most of the park is now shops and restaurants, very little is to do with the animals anymore ... at least this is how we felt. The animal enclosures are too small and we saw many animals pacing and swinging their heads. Not... More

It's been about six years since I last went to Sea World. It's still fun but I was disappointed to see that some things have changed for the worse. The shows used to be half the fun but that's not the case anymore. They're definitely not worth planning your day around. I wouldn't even bother with anything other than Pets... More

The new Manta roller coaster is excellent. The dolphin show is also excellent. Make sure it's a warm day, or don't ride the water rides or sit in the splash zones. You will get wet.

This is an expensive day out, and I feel we did not get our money's worth The shows were good, but too much human Circus style show & not enough animal display The pet rules show was very good, but I would not have expected to see cats & dogs on display at this type of park The killer Wales... Went there Sept 2012 and November 2001 had the most fab time on both occasions the shows are first class and the rides are fun. Very clean very well managed and the helpers there so kind and friendly. Wish I lived in USA would go more often. Great value.

We had a wonderful time here. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We did the Breakfast with Shamu, which was a "must"! Also, loved the feeding/petting the dolphin as well. Wish there had been more rides that our 3 year old could have been on. He had more fun with rides at LegoLand, but still really... More

When I use to live in San Diego, I would visit Sea World at least 4-5 times a year, but it’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been back… and what a change… not for the better! We saw all the shows and loved the “Pets Rule” show (must see)… the rest however were very disappointing, especially the dolphin... More
