My favorite part of these caverns is how close you get to the beauty. You are not allowed to touch, but you are able to get close and appreciate it all. Other caverns keep you so far away. We visited both caverns and liked them both. The tour guides are great and you can tell they are passionate about the... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the cavern. It's not the biggest we've seen but certainly has beautiful and very interesting formations. The drive up is of course on scenic hwy 7 so that in itself is worth the trip. The guide we had was very friendly we would recommend a stop at mystic caverns and also the other cavern... More

Not to far off the road on the way north to Branson, Mo this gem sits waiting for you to take a break and discover the underground caves and its formations. Discovered before the 1920's it has served many purposes to include a dance floor and a still. Early Indians used the calcium carbonate for medicinal purposes. Now it is... More

Nice to visit a cavern where you can enjoy the beauty of creation without the standard "billions of years" speech. Highly recommend. Thanks Steve for a great tour.

Our family took both tours and we all enjoyed our visit. The history of the dance floor and the moonshine still in the cavern was very interesting. Both guides were super friendly, informative and seemed to enjoy their job, which is not always the case at these smaller attractions. The free bottled water was greatly appreciated! They have a small... More

Our family visited Mystic Caverns and decided to tour just the one "Crystal Dome" since we had our almost 2 yr old grandson with us :). We all thought it was neat, beautiful and really easy to get around in. If you have any trouble with claustrophobia, don't worry, you will not have any trouble in this one. The tour... More

There were 4 in our party and we purchased tickets to view both caves. If you are seeking a cave with a scientific educational component for your children, this is not the cave tour for your family. The Prohibition history made the tour of these caves unique, although there was no outstanding formations such as one would find 90 minutes... More

On a recent motorcycle trip to the Ozarks, it was hot and humid. My husband and I stopped to see the cavern, more to beat the heat. We were amazed! There are two caverns, so we toured both. Although these show caves are small, each contains a major showpiece calcite formation. Wonderful! The tour guides were great. Well worth the... More
