Took a guided tour here yesterday. Very well done, with small groups. The guide was very knowledgeable and fielded all questions. Don't pass it by...

Just left from the caverns a few hours ago. Took both tours--the first with Nellie and the second with the owner, Steve. Nellie was incredible. Enthusiastic, knowledgable, easy to get along with and talk to. She showed us the first cave (the one not destroyed by people). It was small--definitely smaller than I was expecting--but beautiful. We were in the... More

Found this site on the web when planning vacation. Nellie was a great guide for the first cavern. I didn't go in the second cavern, but the rest of my party did and said it was better than the first one. Spent the time of the second tour chatting with Nellie. She was very knowledgeable about the facility & the... More

Dwight and Nellie were gracious and informative as they showed us the highlights of each of the two very different caves on the property. One cave discovered in the 1830s shows the effects of it's history since then, whilst the other, discovered in 1967, is better protected. Both interesting though and we enjoyed our morning tour.

The tour guides were very friendly and the caves easy to reach and tour. See both caves as they are different and easy to do in an hour. The walkways are paved or stone and easy to walk on but good walking shoes are recommended over flip-flops or heels. A surprise was the plant life - very unique and well... More

I visited both caverns (there are 2 there) several years ago on a long weekend trip to Branson. It was expensive and small for what you get. Also, be warned that there are over 100 steep stairs in one of the caves. That being said, they both have some magnificent & fascinating formations & it's a beautiful area. Also, a... More

Mystic Caverns are an easy side trip from Branson, through lovely wooded countryside. Our very small tour group (on a weekday morning) was led by the owner, who was extremely knowledgeable and affable. The caves themselves are beautiful--not the most spectacular I've seen, but well worth visiting. The two caves are quite different. The larger one was heavily damaged by... More

Mystic Caverns is a remarkable experience. I took my family with me, and they absolutely loved it! In fact, we've been back more than once! There are two completely different caves -- both have stunning beauty. I found the entire experience easy to manage, and very worth the visit. But here is what separates Mystic Caverns: It is the heart... More

We went on both tours...the Crystal Dome & the cavern...both are very interesting...we had good guides& very small groups...the walk back to the gift shop from the Crystal Dome was a bit strenuous for an overweight Grandma, but I made it ok...pleasantly surprised that the trip thru the larger cavern was an easier hike...when it is easier to walk, I... Driving through the area we decided to take a break and stop by Mystic Caverns. It was the middle of the week so it wasn't crowded. The tour was practically private. We were able to ask questions and take pictures. The toured Crystal Dome! It was beautiful. Wear good shoes, a light sleeve and bring your camera!
