I love visiting caves and these are two good ones. You can see the splendor in one and what man can do to partially spoil what mother nature created. One cave was used by moonshiners and some of the walls are smoked up, but still beautiful. I believe with time mother nature will cleanse the walls.

We went to Mystic Caverns near Harrison, AR, after hiking all day in the Ozark National Forest near Hawksbill Crag. It was a neat way to spend some time! It is nice and cool inside the caves on hot Arkansas days!! We went on the 5:30 PM tour. We did decide to tour both caves (there are 2) for only... More

Don't hesitate to take both tours. Neither cave is so strenuous they are not doable. Interesting history about how the caverns were found and how they were explored. The guides were obviously passionate about the information they shared. Stopped plenty of times for picture taking. Such unbelievable beauty so many feet below the surface of the land. Free bottled water... More

Very clean & cool inside. The gift shop was quite nice as well. I loved our tour guide, very sweet lady. I think my teenage boys were bored but it may have been all the heat fatigue we had from waiting outside for the tour to start. Other than that, I would recommend to a family who has children aged... You can visit 2 beautiful caves on the property. One takes about 45 minutes and the other one takes about 30-35 minutes. Both are totally different than the other. So see both....The guides are very helpful and friendly....<3

Toured both the Mystic Cavern and the Crystal Dome caves (same location). Total time was about 2 hours. The caves are beautiful and the tour informative

We've been to many caverns, but this one really stood out. It wasn't so much the caverns themselves, although they were amazing, but how our tour guide, Angel, presented the tour. You could see her absolute love of the caverns. We were there in the off season, so in one cavern we were with another couple, but in the other,... More

Our guide for our trip was Diane. She was very friendly and patient with our 2 boys that interrupted her constantly and asked tons of questions. And she always stopped and answered them and went on with her stories about the caves. We really enjoyed it.
