The cavern tour is very educational and fun. The guide had a folksy fun way of chatting with us. Unfortunately over the years the caverns suffered some damage, but the guide can enlighten you on that!

Great people here! Very friendly and helpful. Very informative and interesting history of the caves. Also very helpful in other area attractions (Lost Valley, Cosmic Cavern). If you are in the area make sure you make your way through Ponca and Boxley at dawn/dusk to see the large herds of elk that frequent the area. Unbelievable drive along Route 7... More

Touring both caves takes less than 2 hrs and is worth the time. It's hard to believe what lies just beneath the surface. The tour guides were great. The only thing I would have changed is maybe a smaller tour group. There were around 25 in our group and many were small children so it was sometimes hard to hear... More

If by chance, you find yourself on scenic hwy 7, plan to make a stop at the Mystic Caverns. These caverns are not huge, but worth a stop. You are able to view one or two caverns. The Crystal Dome is beautiful. It isn't large. It was discovered late and virtually has been untouched. The other cavern has been touched... More

My favorite part of these caverns is how close you get to the beauty. You are not allowed to touch, but you are able to get close and appreciate it all. Other caverns keep you so far away. We visited both caverns and liked them both. The tour guides are great and you can tell they are passionate about the... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the cavern. It's not the biggest we've seen but certainly has beautiful and very interesting formations. The drive up is of course on scenic hwy 7 so that in itself is worth the trip. The guide we had was very friendly we would recommend a stop at mystic caverns and also the other cavern... More

Not to far off the road on the way north to Branson, Mo this gem sits waiting for you to take a break and discover the underground caves and its formations. Discovered before the 1920's it has served many purposes to include a dance floor and a still. Early Indians used the calcium carbonate for medicinal purposes. Now it is... More

Nice to visit a cavern where you can enjoy the beauty of creation without the standard "billions of years" speech. Highly recommend. Thanks Steve for a great tour.
