Get up close to our animals with the Monster Bison Bus and you can also see exotic animals like Tall Boy & Patches (our giraffes that will actually eat out of your hand!) and so much more! Our Petting zoo has a variety of different animals. With rabbits, turkeys, pigmy goats, pot belly pigs "Lucy" the miniature cow, "Bucky" the fallow deer, and some miniature horses. With the addition of our very own Turken Frisel, the petting zoo has become even more unusual and exciting. These are only a few of the animals that we have in our petting zooThe Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo is proud to be the home of the White Buffalo "TUKOTA" (Too-ko-ta). A white buffalo is considered by the Sioux Indian tribes to be the most sacred living thing you could encounter.

This is not a drive-thru safari-type park. You'll ride a trolley thru some lovely rolling hills ranch land and stop twice to feed animals in a controlled setting. Our trip was narrated by an older man with a well-defined southern drawl. The narration was informative, full of trivia about buffalo, zebra, other animals and entertaining for all ages. The zoo... We saw some signs for this place and it was time to stop and take a break. Heads up, Monday is their cleaning/maintenance day, it was just fine with us because we had the place mostly to ourselves. We walked around and looked at the "caged animals" first. There were various reptiles, a lioness, wolves, foxes, giraffes, ponies, and some... More

My grandson and I went to the Buffalo Park and were thrilled by how we were treated and the experience was exceptional. The employees went out of their way to ensure we had a great time with all the animals. We were allowed to feed several from buffalo to the camels. It was like a safari. Out tour guide knew... More

This was a lot of fun for my 8yr. old and 1 yr. old! I contacted the park before our trip to find out about picnic lunches. It is a small zoo area and petting zoo. We also took the Buffalo tour on the trolley. They have a nice area with picnic tables to have lunch with large Polar fans... More

My 1 year old loved going to see all the animals. He loved getting to feed the buffalo and watch all the other animals too. There is a playground for when we got done with the tour and he could have played a while.

My husband took my daughter, son, and niece here while I was stuck in a conference, so this review is second-hand, but my daughter and niece are STILL talking about this place 2 months later. They loved seeing the buffalo, feeding the goats and other animals, doing the zip line, and shopping in the gift shop. They bought beaded Native... More

We needed something to do for a few hours due to an unexpected stop in town and ended up here after looking at the slim options. The buildings were all very nice. The gift shop had the usual options as well as ice cream and drinks. We paid fourteen each for the bison tour and admission and it was worth... More

The tram ride buffalo tour costs extra and leaves on the hour with the last tour one hour before close. This portion takes 50 minutes and has two stops to allow you to feed buffalo and goats. While driving around you hear some general information about the animals and historical information about the park. This portion was ok. The petting... More

The price of admission is reasonable for the interactive experience that you get. There is a nice little gift shop when you first arrive with drinks available but no food. You can buy food for feeding the animals here and you will also have opportunities along the way in dispensers. They offer a trolly ride around the park for an... More
