We have used Old Town Trolley Tours in other cities and have not been and was still not disappointed. They give a military discount, you can order online, you can start and end your tour at any of the stops, and the ticket was good for two days. We planned it such that we used the Old Town Trolley Tour... More

Visiting in February I almost had the trolley car to myself! In a snow covered Boston a superb driver narrated the history and quirks of the city, pointing out what was worth visiting on and off the beaten track. There are various special offers with the season - at the time of my visit it was 3 days use of... More

Our plans during our Boston day went a bit awry because of the all the snow and the cold and there was no way we could walk the Freedom Trail so Concierge at our hotel suggested we take this hop on hop off tour as a way of seeing the sights and also staying in the warm! We got 3... More

This tour was absolutely incredible! All the drivers are very knowledgeable and you learn so much from their commentary. The tour is very convenient as it stops at all the major parts of the city so you have the option of getting off, exploring, and then hopping back on when you're done. You don't even need to get off at... More

I enjoyed Bear's tour, it was funny & informative. HOHO option is available but I found it worth my time to do the full circuit to get to know the lay of the land much better without killing my feet. The winter season ticket lets you HOHO for 3 days, just try to remember where the stops are coz not... More

You can purchase a ticket for 2 consecutive days of riding the "on-and-off" trolley. The guides pass on more information than you could imagine. My suggestion is to start early on day 1 and stay on the entire route. Do not get off until you have received a good overview by going through the entire route. Then pick out those... More

Craka-jack was great. Got us back to the ship with sooo much info. and made me have a smile the whole way. Loved Boston, and looking forward to a return trip for a longer stay. I also unknowingly hit the video record on the camera but had the lens cap on so have many min. of Craka-jack and his narration.

Recalling the experience, I'd rather choose a cheaper alternative, as it was more than $40 per person, for 1 to 3 days. There were cheaper options. We choose this one because it was recommended by our concierge. Explanations very good... just one of the drivers was trying too hard to be nice...

The Old Town Trolley drivers (I had two) were informative, funny and seemingly genuinely enthusiastic about their jobs. I got on at Stop 11 across from my hotel. I purchased my ticket via the concierge and it was less expensive than I expected. The trolley was almost empty due to the brisk weather and piles of snow and slush still... More

during our first segment of the tour. Super friendly, but not too talkative. Engaged the jr members of the group, but also included the adults. J----poor girl was grouchy and not what I've experienced on most HOHO or Trolley tours. Bean was a wealth of information, but she bated one customer soliciting an opinion on the History Chanel's "Sons of... More
