Great day for a ride! We arrived and realized we had booked for a different tour and day! The staff was more than helpful in changing out error so we could ride on the tour we really thought we booked! How Cool is that! The tour guides were friendly and very knowledgable about Boston history. We had a great day... More

What a great way to see this city for two first time overseas travellers! The staff here were all too happy to answer any and every question we had, as well as take a heap of photos of the two of us. The tour guides are all knowledgeable locals, and made it a pleasant trip. Would highly recommend this.

In town for my daughters college graduation so decided to take advantage of a free day and beautiful Boston weather. Rented two bikes with locks, helmets and map of the city. We took off with no real agenda and after 7 hours returned to their easy to find North End location. Bikes are new, have great gears, brakes and a... More

I was partipating in my first ever group bike ride, and needed to rent a bike for the 5 mile ride, 10 miles total (since I didn't own a bike). I was very rusty, had never rented a bike before and hadn't been on a bike for several years--especially on a ride for that length of time and distance. I... More

What an amazing tour! We were able to ride through each of the iconic Boston neighborhoods and along the Charles River. Every ten minutes or so, we paused to hear the history of Boston and specific landmarks. We were fortunate to have just a few in our group, and Lyn was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable and we... More

I volunteer as a big brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay (BBBSMB), and my "little" and I attended a ride with Urban AdvenTours this past weekend. I should start by pointing out that it takes a certain type of company to work with a volunteer organization like us. They worked with BBBSMB to provide very generous entry... More

excellent guides (2 for our group of 13, which is typical), and excellent lightweight bikes (Kona and Giant with front and rear disc brakes on 700 cc tires). very easy ride and they will accommodate slightly if you are a new rider. Boston is a surprisingly easy city to bike in. stops for photo and water. bring some cash for... More

Let me preface this review by saying, I am a very inexperienced biker and was really anxious to ride. I am also short at 4' 10" and have trouble touching the ground. I also never biked on busy streets. However, all our guides were very helpful and patient with me. They also made sure that I was safe as I... More

First day in a new city, I love to take a bike tour to get my bearing. I took the 10am tour led by Greg that lasted about two hours. He was a great guide and full of knowledge. Also a very safety conscious guide which is good since there a 9 y.o. On the ride with his nanny. This... More

We rented 2 adult and 2 child bikes for the day. The equipment was in excellent condition, the staff were very helpful, suggested routes were good and easy to follow, and costs were reasonable. We cycled along the river to Cambridge, a round trip of about 12 miles, but flat all the way and almost entirely on dedicated cycle tracks.... More
