This is a great way to extend your time in the North End. The comedy is funny and the audience interaction makes it a new experience each time. Went to two shows on our last trip to Boston and would go back again next time we're in town. The setting (CVS basement) is intimate and adds to the experience.

This was my first go at improv comedy and I really enjoyed it. While its not exactly who's line is it anyways (which isn't a bad thing) the club and actors have their own unique charm. The club is very small and feels very personal and there is audience and comedian interaction. I would plan to leave the children at... More

Our impression as we got to our seats was that we did not fit in! We were like the parents of the rest of the audience! They were majority college aged students! So we laughed about it and stayed for the show. We were pleasantly surprised. Different groups went up and performed improv and they did a great job! Not... More

We have been here five times and each time is just as good and a little different given who is in the cast and the audience. The room is small so there is really no bad seat. Had them present at my company outing for 200 people and everyone loved it!

My girlfriend and I had an excellent time! The performers were very funny and creative. The even offered us free admission to the midnight show after we attended the 10pm show. I recommend getting a seat in the front row to get more involved in the action. My only complaint was that it didn't last long enough. 90 minutes went... More

I'm not a huge comedy fan, so I had some reservations about going to a stand-up show. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The show I saw was a series of 5-6 different groups that performed 10-15 minute skits. It kept the show engaging! Loved that they used audience participation and the informal nature of the show. Went on a Tuesday... More

I have been here four times and I love it each time. This is a must see thing in Boston. I am from Chicago so I usually have a high standard for improv and comedy clubs and this one meets it.

I read the best and worst of reviews. Comedy is a funny thing...pun intended. I went to the Improv Asylum with my 16 year old son and it was totally appropriate for the age. We both thought the troupe hilarious and gifted. Not every improv is going to hit the mark but 90% did and that is more than enough... More

I went to a Friday night show with some of my friends, and we had a great time. The tickets were mid-range priced (around $25/each) and the beers were somewhat pricey ($6-$7). I'd recommend getting there early so you can get a good seat. The actors were very funny and entertaining, and engaged the crowd very frequently. We laughed the... More
