I went there will on a CouchSurfing trip and it definitely was a nice place to see. A lot of history to leanr about and a very interesting changing over time house that has all the marks of its own history. This mansion was built before the Revolutionary War for the Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Province. It later housed other prominent residents of the early United States including the first Democratic-Republican Governor of Massachusetts. I went on a tour of the house and the neighborhood this weekend, and it was definitely worth it. I've lived in Boston for most of my life and never made it out here before, but glad that I did! Interesting history, vibrant neighborhood and well worth a trip.
