The Opera House, located in the Boston Theatre District is a beautiful old gem. Great place to see the traveling broadway shows in Boston. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as parking.

If you have a chance go to a show at this beautifully restored theatre GO. Easy parking in area. Just saw "Kinky Boots", great show and standin for the lead role of Lola did an excellent job, impressive. Seats comfortable. Sound was alittle difficult on the balcony, but good views. Had the pleasure of seeing "Newsies" here on my last trip to Boston. What an gorgeous theater. My jaw just dropped upon walking inside. This place has been beautifully restored and preserved. The sound was great, and the seats were surprisingly comfortable.

It was a treat to see the Opera House.Saw the musical Newsies and where we sat the seats were great. It is such a large place that all the seats look like they are fine. The seats are tight but all seats are tight in most theatrical productions even in New York. This theater underwent a program of restoration to its original grandeur.It... The Opera House is a stunning and beautiful building! Go see a show and bask in the glory and opulence of yesteryear. Seats are tight but not uncomfortable. Bars on two levels. Enjoy a cocktail before the show and take in the beautiful building.

Absolutely gorgeous lobby, mezzanine, and theater. Seats are tight. I can see where a larger or taller size person would be uncomfortable. Acoustics seemed fine.
