Great place for concerts and probably my favorite venue in Boston. I have seen numerous shows there and the sound has always been great. Seems to be an odd place for metal shows though due to the raised dance floor but being close to the front has never caused that to be a problem for me. The view from the... More

The girl at the door who searched my bag was obviously on drugs. She spent about 5 minutes going through every little thing, having trouble with each zipper and dropping stuff on the ground, even opened up my ear plug case and asked what they were. I can't help but think she really wanted me to have drugs, so she... More

Great place to crash after the concert and the party is all done and over. It's the same place, the venue is just next door. The staff is friendly and provide great service. It's not the Charles or Omni, but an excellent place to crash after the nights activities. Thanks for the kind hospitality .

Awesome venue with good sound system. The crowd trends a bit younger but is a good mix of locals, international students and visitors. Tablelist (http://www.tablelist.com) is the best way to book a table there for any of the big nights they have DJs.

The place is huge and gorgeous and I love going there. have been going for over 5 years with friends. Last night (NOV 8) I went with a friend who happens to be a police officer and we were both shocked with the lack of safety of the place, even though they search people in the entrance. We were in... Four of us went upto the stage as a lot of people were dancing on the stage.. But because we were Indians and not white a Bouncer came to us... More

The Royale is right downtown on Tremont Street. Very easy to get to via the T. It is a great venue to see live music. Spacious enough to accommodate a good size crowd but good views to the stage from many different vantage points. Nice decor and a few bars situated throughout so not hard to get a drink if... More

My husband and I often frequent the Royale to see our favorite musical groups. The entrance is easy to miss. It's a small set of doors to the left of the larger entrance to the Marriot Hotel It has a big dance floor but it can get very crowded! There a few tables and additional seating areas on the main...
