Description: Walking Boston offers a fun, private, educational tour of historic Boston...
Walking Boston offers a fun, private, educational tour of historic Boston. Very entertaining & informative guide. Walking Boston is Boston’s only historic tour given by a children’s book author and Boston historian with family ties to the Sons of Liberty and Paul Revere. Imagine yourself touring Boston with an actual relative of the legendary Paul Revere! Ben Edwards is a creative and engaging tour guide who offers private tours at a comfortable pace. His private guided walking tours for groups and families provide a personalized approach ensuring plenty of time for questions and the flexibility to stay longer at many of the sites.

Our family of four had a great day touring with Ben. He is very knowledgable about Boston's history. We walked along the Freedom Trail -- he carries special artifacts to share along the way. Makes it good fun for the entire family. Loved the stop in the printing shop. Special thanks to Tyler! Overall, would highly recommend.

I am a teacher, and I wanted to get a close look at Bostons rich history. Who better to help me? Ben! I have two "Tweens", and a husband who were less than thrilled about a guided tour when I first booked it. However, ten minutes into the tour my husband and kids were saying "this is awesome!" Ben is... More

After considerable internet research, I decided to sign up for the longer of Ben Edwards' Walking Tours of Historical Boston. My teenage nephew loves American history, especially the early years of this nation and the Civil War years. He'd been reading Esther Forbes's novel, Johnny Tremain, and was eager to visit the places described in that novel where the great... More

We read a lot of good things about Ben Edwards and his hands-on tour of the Freedom Trail and had high expectations. We were still blown away by the experience. Ben made the tour amazingly interesting and enjoyable for our 10 year old daughter and us. History came alive through his stories and the inclusion of historical artifacts throughout the... More

We went on Ben's tour with our family and everybody including my children ages 6-12 loved it. It is obvious he has done research and is very good at tayloring the tour to your interest. Highly recommend.

Just came back from our 5th field trip with Ben! My fifth graders really enjoy him and he makes history fun and exciting. His tour is comprehensive and fast paced but keeps the kids engaged. In my many years, I've used other tour guides and hey are nowhere near as good! I would highly recommend Ben Edwards Walking tour to... More

Ben's tour never fails! I have taken my students to Boston every year for this field trip and it is always the fan favorite! Ben is engaging, fun, and full of knowledge. The kids leave chattering about the many fun and interesting facts they learned about Boston and the historical events that took place there. This tour is must-do!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to take one of Ben Edwards tours while in Boston. The man lives and breathes Revolutuionary history. We saw and heard about so much of of our American history from this passionate man with a direct link to Paul Revere. Do take a tour if it is possible.

I can't say enough about our family tour with Ben. This was our first trip to Boston and we wanted to see as much as we could and experience Boston historically. Ben did just that for us and more. He had many interesting stories to go along with the history, which made it so fun that you couldn't wait to... More
