This tour uses amphibious 'buses' rather than the usual duck boats. The problem is there's not much to see from the water where the bus goes. Even the USS Constitution is in dry dock and is better seen from the land side.

Not sure if it is just Boston but we did a duck tour in Philly and it was much better. The one thing I didn't like is that they advertise parking at $12 and its $14 it's two Dollars but it still the principle. Also the tour guides kept talking about being drunk the whole time didn't think they were... More

Boston is a city rich in history, sites, people/personalities. There are literally hundreds of noteworthy landmarks - some of which are easily recognized; some which are hidden jewels. The Super Duck Tours covers a limited area but it's enough area so that one should be able to fill 90 minutes with LOTS of interesting information. Our guide did point out... More

Witnessed this morning the Super Duck Tours tout at Long Wharf Boston screaming profanities at the bus driver and racist obscenities at a busload of Chinese tourists exiting the bus. This company is a disgrace to humanity.

Hi 02186Anonymous. Those are some very serious accusations and we can't say we recognize your story as being something any of our employees would do or that fits in any way with the core values of our company. Would you be willing to let us call you to get more information about this? If so please send us your name... More

Having been informed that the original Duck Tours of Boston were not running today, we opted for the Super Duck Tour. We were disappointed that they were not run in the WWII amphibious landing vehicles and this land tour did not cover as much area either. First we had to take a bus from the Aquarium to the Navel Shipyard.... More

Thanks for writing Oakworthgirl. We're proud of the custom made, modern amphibious vehicles we run our Super Duck Tours on and made a choice at the beginning not to use landing craft from the second world war to host our visitors. Boston Harbor is a vibrant and dynamic environment and it's important to us that our vehicles are hearty and... More

The price for this tour is roughly $40 per person. The tour is 1 hour and a half long and is narrated. The driver and the narrator were very friendly and informative but the sites you see on this tour can be seen and narrated on one of those "hop on and off" trolleys. The only difference is, you get to... More

Hi organic2013. Sorry to hear the tour didn't meet your expectations. We do offer a hop on hop off trolley tour through our Upper Deck Trolley Tours that might have been a better fit for you. Our Super Duck Tour visits a number of important historical sites and the unique angle is that it's both a land tour and a... More

Super Duck Tours Howie and Jeff Too Loud! Captain and Guide continued to talk over each other. I took my wife and 3 kids on the 1:00 pm Duck on Saturday April 25th. The Duck got off to a late start (1:08) because the crew was waiting for a taxicab to show up with the final 6 riders. (Really? I... More

Srsullivan01867, we're so sorry your tour with us turned out this way. We've been looking into your report internally and can say there were a number of factors in play that day, but the bottom line is that we take our customers' comfort and tour experience very seriously and do not want anyone to leave a visit with us having... Fantastic guides. The tour was a 90 min tour of Boston and the portion on land was extremely informative and the guides kept the flow of information light and humourous. We were travelling with children and they were interested and engaged for the entire land portion. Once the Bus/Boat entered the water (which was neat) the tour really slowed down... More

Fun and informative tour with great guides. We learned a lot about Boston. The Groupon deal makes it even better! Definitely worth doing if you are new to Boston. The loop of Boston Harbor allows for a great view of the USS Constitution as well.

Thanks for riding with us and for your review Komodojimmy. If you want to see the USS Constitution from the water, along with loads of other important historical sights and locations, Super Tours is the way to go. You just can't get the access and views from any other company. Jonathan Silverman Boston Super Tours More
