only $5 and you get a tour of the place and tasting of the many beers etc they make on site. Informative but friendly staff explain the processes and its interesting. After a half an hour you get to sample the goods...i liked the cider but the beers were not for me. after most people have a beer or 2... More

This brewery offers a great tour and includes a great beer hall on the docks. The tour guides are personable and make it fun. The beer tasting enables you to try all of their different beers and then the beer hall enables you to focus on the ones you like. Do not miss the outstanding pretzels, they are worth the... More

A tour of the Harpoon Brewery is worth the effort (easily reached via the Silver Line bus out of South Station). We didn't partake of the famous pretzels, but they looked delicious. The tour of the brewery and the beer tasting are worth whatever wait you have (we had about an hour and a half wait, but used it to... More

Visited Harpoon with my boyfriend in December 2013. We paid admission for the brewery tour & waited out at the huge bar for our group. They have quite a slew of beers to select from, including a great raspberry hefeweizen! The tour itself was very informative. The best part? The tasting! The tasting room is awesome (had a huge shelf... More

Visited here on a recent Friday afternoon. We had read the tour was on the hour and first come-first served. Arrived at 1:45 so we figured maybe we would make the 2PM but more likely the 3PM Tour. The hostess told us the first time we could get in was 5PM! with no explanation, Came to find out there was... More

This is a very good brewery tour, and has a great area to try all of the beer that Harpoon makes. It is a clean and friendly operation.

In fact, I've never heard of Harpoon brewery in Japan before joining the tour because the beer is available mainly in the United States especially for the east coast. But, I do like IPA Leviathan after tasting it at the brewery, and a pub in Boston! The tour takes us to the real facility to brew Harpoon beer, a small... More

The Windsor brewery's tour was very good, with lots of information and an appealing variety of speakers. They gave us liberal samples of many types of beers. The restaurant was a bistro type and very good for lunch. There is also a Vermont products store nearby that had good selection and free samples.

If you could only do one brewery tour in Boston, this is the one to do it (and this comes from a major Sam Adams fan). While Sam Adams is off the beaten path, Harpoon is on the waterfront, giving you dining options within walking distance and is a short cab ride/far walk into downtown Boston. It does come with... A bit out of the main parts of the city,BUT, it's worth it. Staff and service is awesome, the tour is great and interesting. The beer is incredible and the pretzels are a must. Would recomend anytime. Do not miss it. For either beer fans or rookies. Prices are really reasonable.
