Harpoon makes some really good beer and upon hearing that they opened a beer hall I was excited to check it out the next time I was in town. Last year I enjoyed a tour and tasting with great guides who provided a wonderful experience. This year when I experience the beer hall things could not have been more different.... More

My husband and I went on may 11, 2013. I would recommend coming are early as possible. We arrived a little before 11 and were within the first 15 people. We got tickets for the 11:20 tour. The guide was informative and entertaining. The last part was the tasting and they give you about 20 minutes to taste anything that... More

The brew tour is definitely something you should do while in Boston. The knowledgeable staff brought us through the brew process, gave us samples in the beer hall, and were generally excited to talk beer. Parking is tight, so carpool if you can, and always have a Designated Driver :) they also brew their own root beer, which was amazing!

We were tipped off about Harpoon by a Bostonian who indicated it was something we should really try to do. If you are a beer snob and love beer, you will be in heaven when you visit. The tours are cheap and quick. The staff loves their beer and it is infectious. After a safety briefing and donning a pair... More

This is the place to come to explore the massive range of beer styles that Harpoon brews. I think there's 20 different beers on tap. If you're in the waterfront area and don't feel like drinking in a lounge scene, this is a good alternative. Ask for a taste to discover the one you like or buy a sampler. Staff... More

We actually went to visit Harpoon on a whim this past St Patricks day. Fortunately, it was not as busy as we expected and we were able to join a tour right away. The tour was very informative and the beer tasting was seemingly unlimited! We even got to taste beer fresh from the 800 gallon beer tank! Can't wait... More

My husband and I are really in to beer, so we knew that Harpoon had to be on our list of attractions to see while in Boston. We were not disappointed. Although there was no tour the day we visited, we had a great time at the tasting in the newly expanded beer hall. We participated in the 2pm tasting,... More

We arrived at about 3:30 on a Monday, for the 4pm tasting to discover that this was the first day of their new regime of running tours during the week, so we put our name down. We filled the time with a beer each, and a pretzel to share. The beer was excellent, but that was to be expected. If... More

Harpoon is a wide open experience. This is a brewery and beer hall. I highly recommend reading the web site and heed their advise regarding a visit and brewery tour. This place is wildly popular on the weekends, you are not going to be able to just walk in and expect to tour. We took the Silver line on the... More

My husband left our Boston apartment early to go get tickets because on their website it says they often sell out. When he returned he told me the line had been quite long, but he secured us a 2pm tour for 4 as we had friends in town. He also told me they had renovated the brewery and now had... More
