Was in town for business and was lucky enough to catch their performance on the first night of their two night run. Simply phenomenal performance.

Crowded and over priced, unless I have a ticket for a seat I will not be back. The price for a general admission ticket isn't worth the discomfort.

Yet another fine example of being treated badly by Ticketmaster/Live Nation. We went to see Tedeschi Trucks (awesome band, horrible venue). I've been to HOB and understand the standing room only concept (even thought there ARE seats but unless you are Alex or Ani or have slimy contacts at Ticketmaster you have NO chance of getting). But SRO in the... More

Saw a show at this venue and the show was incredible. Really got my money's worth, but. being a senior citizen the venue has a little to be desired about. I paid for the seats because at my age standing for a three hour show is not realistic. You have to climb three floors to get to the seats. Booking... More

The house of Blues is my new favorite spot in Boston! Moving from Cali I have no clue about where to go for shows after reading reviews about the House of Blues I thought I would see a show! My boyfriend and I had dinner and drinks before the show and did not have to wait in a long line... More

HoB gets some great bands. As others have mentioned, the Security staff is out of control. They seem to look for confrontations and bully people who have done nothing wrong. Drinks are way overpriced and service is indifferent to hostile. Unless you're really tall, it's impossible to see the stage from many locations.

For my boyfriends birthday, I paid I'm tickets to go see a show at the house of blues. It took us 6 hours to get to Boston to see his favorite rapper and we finally didn't see nothing because of a misunderstanding from the HORRIBLE and MEAN STAFF who taught we we're fighting or something just because I got pushed... Last night, my husband and I took our teenage daughter to see 50 Cent. 50 was great!!! We read a multitude of reviews - some good, many bad that related to the "Security" staff. As parents, we use music as an opportunity to bond with our teens. Off we went. Once inside, my husband and I ordered drinks. He dashed... More

2 couples attended Fitz and the Tantrums last night @ House of Blues behind Fenway Park. The venue is awesome ! Much bigger than any of us anticipated. We purchased our tickets in advance and found that the long line to get in moved quickly. We used the coat check just inside and it worked smoothly at entry & at... More

The lines to get into the HoB were down the entire block. Even when it was freezing rain, they did nothing to expedite the entrance process. The search to get in was invasive, felt like getting a pat-down from TSA. Once inside, it got a little better, though there were sound problems during a few songs in the first set.... More
