We wanted seats, but they sold out the first day, so not knowing we got tickets for the 2nd floor. Since we didn't know the opener, we got there about an hour before the headliner was supposed to start. The second floor would have been fine if we were against the railing or maybe tall, but I wasn't able to... More

I've been to the House of Blues for several concerts, and every time I go, the staff's aggression seems to have increased at the same rate as their unwarranted suspicion of their visitors. Entering the venue leaves you feeling like you just survived the most rigorous of airport security checks, and the incredible number of separate queues - from the... More

We had a great time- the staff was professional, the band was great, and we got to skip the General Admission line because we had dinner at the restaurant.

The Tragically Hip totally rocked this place on Saturday the 24th. The venue sounds fantastic, our bartender did an amazing job quenching our thirst (wish I got his name), and the staff was friendly. House of Blues Boston is almost a 4 hour drive from our house but certainly worth it. I really like the early Saturday shows.

We visited HOB to see the Glitch Mob show in October. Although it was packed with people dancing (to be expected) there was room to dance and enjoy yourself. We went up to the 2nd floor where we could look down onto the band and see everything from an aerial view. There are multiple bars on each level with plenty... More

If I had more than 2 thumbs, I'd put them all up. Fantastic show. Well worth the 5-hour drive to get there.

Was in town for business and was lucky enough to catch their performance on the first night of their two night run. Simply phenomenal performance.

Crowded and over priced, unless I have a ticket for a seat I will not be back. The price for a general admission ticket isn't worth the discomfort.

Yet another fine example of being treated badly by Ticketmaster/Live Nation. We went to see Tedeschi Trucks (awesome band, horrible venue). I've been to HOB and understand the standing room only concept (even thought there ARE seats but unless you are Alex or Ani or have slimy contacts at Ticketmaster you have NO chance of getting). But SRO in the... More

Saw a show at this venue and the show was incredible. Really got my money's worth, but. being a senior citizen the venue has a little to be desired about. I paid for the seats because at my age standing for a three hour show is not realistic. You have to climb three floors to get to the seats. Booking... More
