This was our first visit to see Blue Man Group and I have no idea why we waited so long to pull the trigger. The Charles Playhouse is just a wonderful place for this experience as it is smallish creating great audience interaction with the performance. If you have never been, go, it is indescribable and totally entertaining if you... More

Blue man group was a great interactive show. The theater is small and intimate and their are no bad seats. The show was interactive and we were entertained. The one thing I will mention are the seats are very small. The person in the seat next to was actually sitting on my chair and hers a little uncomfortable.

My husband and I received gift certificates to the show for Christmas. I wasn't previously interested in attending but I like trying new things so we thought we'd give it a go. It's nice that the theater is so small because there aren't any "bad" seats. All seats are good but if you want more interaction with the performers sit... More

We decided to take our daughter to see the BMG in Boston. We've seen them advertised across the country and had never seen them (except for some segments on PBS). The theatre is very small, seating about 300 people. The stage is one of the smallest I have ever seen but the performers work every square inch they have. The... More

I saw the show in Vegas just 3 months prior, and although the show is more or less the same, the experience is quite different due to the size of the venue. The ponchos are provide in Vegas for the first 3 rows or so, but here the first 8 rows get them. Initially we were reticent in using them,... More

These guys are fantastic - very witty and clever and the music keeps the entire experience moving along with it... the audience interactions are fun and you don't get the feeling that they perform this show on a daily basis - they seem to be genuinely having a good time along with the audience.

I went to see this with my 16 year old. Overall, a good show - what is basically an updated mime show. The overall gags are very good and the paint spitting and the mock vomiting are well done. The scene about bottoms, buttocks, your back door etc are a bit base and I thought pretty silly, especially as they... More

Lively performance with hardly a dull moment. The 7 year old girlie loved it and the 3 year old girlie was so riveted she actually stayed in her seat the entire time (versus wandering off to explore). The parents enjoyed it too. As my wife mentioned "it's not very deep" ....but.... it is fun. After the show the band posed... More

We went to Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse. Before the event we relaxed in the lounge. It had plush large couches and a tube sound wall for visitors to play. Many children were fascinated with it. The Charles Playhouse is rather old and our original seats were so small that we had difficulty sitting comfortably side by side.... More
