This was my first time at Blue Hills. Parking was ample throughout the neighborhood. Lots of restaurants, but a bit pricey. The venue itself reminded me of my teen years at the Warwick Musical Theater in Rhode Island. It is an open air amphitheatre with lovely sea breezes. Unfortunately, the seats aren't very comfortable and the rows are extremely close... More

The sound system at this venue is terrible, distorts any and all audio. The staff is violent and full of themselves. All products are way over price. And even in a half full show they will check tickets to make sure you stay in your seat. AVOID at all costs to have a good time.

OMG this is the worst venue ever live music! I will NEVER come here again!! If you actually love music, go to House of Blues (or pretty much anywhere else)!!

So - for two hours a bunch of people stood in font of me... why do they even have seats if you cannot see the show while sitting down. Sorry - not up for two hours of standing. Besides - even standing I struggled to see performance (some very tall guys in front of me).

Saw Steely Dan Sept 6th and very much enjoyed the show and the venue. Very organized security and staff was always very helpful. Bathrooms were large and the lines were never long. Drinks were very pricey, but knew that going in thanks to TA. My only complaint is that the seating area is pretty flat, which makes it tough to... More

Fun venue with lots of restaurants around and it overlooks the water. We had no problem finding parking. I saw Yanni perform here and I was seated in the second row. The sound was great and the concert was awesome! The stage is pretty high, so I would recommend sitting a bit further back to get a complete view of... More

The Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (the former Bank of America Pavilion) is the perfect spot for a summer concert. This venue overlooks Boston Harbor, and although Logan Airport is just across the water I have never heard a plane affect the music. The theater holds just around 5,000, and the seats are spacious with ample room between the rows (many... More

We went to this pavilion to see John Fogarty. The sound was excellent. The ocean/city view is beautiful. The prices for food and drinks was exorbitant. The seating area is quite small and you want to try to get a seat in the center section to avoid an obstructed view of the stage.

It was on the water, which was nice. However, the pavillion itself didn't allow for a lot of air movement and it was July 1st. Sound quality for the concert we saw was great. I've been to these types of venues before and have had a hard time hearing the performers. This time I heard it all. Lots of vendors... More
