When George Bush Sr. came to mock Boston Harbor as America's dirtiest in his campaign against then Massachusetts Govenor Michael Dukakis it was one of the lowest points in the history of Boston's seaport. My husband and I have lived in Boston on/off for years now. We have gone to the art museums, science museum, walked the freedom trail etc. This was our best tourist experience. We paid for a boat ride to the island with the fort(sorry I do not remember the name) on it and then cruised around from island to island... more
