I would try to go when there isnt a school vacation week. There isnt a lot of space to view the aquarimums if people are all around. Parking was expensive next door at about 35 bucks. Its a good one time visit place probably wont go back for several years. but I DO recommend. More

Visited in May 2012 on a very cold rainy day. Had our daughter, her husband and 2 small chldren with us. This was their first time to the aquarium. They enjoyed their visit and it kept their two small chidren amused for 3 hours. We were really disappointed that the sharks and stinkrays were not in the big tank. I... More

We spent an enchanting three hours (we could have stayed longer but the venue was closing) exploring the always wonderful New England Aquarium. We had the great good fortune to watch the staff feed the penguins and the giant tortoises as well as see the deep sea divers assist in the large central tank. The diverse wonders under the oceans... There are many negative reviews up on this aquarium, and don't believe any of them! This an excellent aquarium if you don't come expecting SeaWorld. While there are no whale tricks or roller coasters there is an amazing variety of sea life, from giant turtles to tiny penguins. You'll be whisked off to the amazon rainforest, coral reefs, antarctic and... More

A group of 2 adults, and 2 children 9 and 1 went to the aquarium on March 17. We drove from Middletown, Rhode Island and arrived there approx. 8:30 a.m. Tickets were reasonable. Yes, the parking was at the Aquarium, but that price is very, very high. It took only 10 minutes to buy tickets. The Aquarium was so crowded,... More

Not as good as it should be or could be.... The staff were very good but the quality of the tanks was a little lack lustre and predictable.... More

My friend got us discount tickets to the aquarium so we spent a few hours there on a Monday morning. There were a lot of school groups but the aquarium was big enough to not feel too crowded. I loved the penguin exhibit but I'm a penguin fanatic. The sea lions and seals were not as easy to see and... More

I finally visited the aquarium for the first time. It was much smaller than other aquariums I had been too, but the fish and aquatic life were amazing. Anyone that knows me knows I am a sucker for sea turtles. They had 2 large beautiful sea turtles in the main tank. I liked the fact that you could were able... More

It is not Seaworld, there is a 12 minute seal show, they jump but appear to lack commitment to the show like the people putting it on. There is no penguin, show, guy stands in the water and talks about penguins. It is one big tank in the center that is four stories tall. Its good for a hour walk... More

Imagine a building made mostly out of concret, insert 2,000 young children...But the displays were pretty good. I especially like the seal enclosure. They had a couple of young ones in there that were pretty frisky playing with a swim noodle. Very entertaining. Otherwise I thought it was over priced at $24 for one adult. More
