The North End is a teriffic food destination as well as being worthwhile for the historical sights. Great spot for any number of Italian restaurants and pastry shops.

Once again we went to Mike's twice in two days. My family thinks that if I'm in Boston, I must bring Cannolis, They are such a touristy place, but really still make a great one. We have come to love the line, the ladies behind the counter and the whole environment.

I ate dinner at a popular Italian restaurant... don't remember the name. The food was good, but when I finished, the waiter informed me that they didn't take credit cards!! (I saw no notice posted about this.) I had to go across the street to an ATM to pay the bill. Don't know if this is the policy of just... More

I loved visiting the Old North Church. The building is interesting and unique. The artifacts inside include toe warmers and some Angels stolen from the French on their way to Canada! Love the history. One if by land...

Five North Square...OMG...fabulous food and the bay windows upstairs allow for a great seating! The lovely waitress from El Salvador was OUTSTANDING. Service exceeded expectations and was second only to the exquisite cuisine.

We found ourselves coming back to the North End several times because the food was so good. Italian like Italian should be made.

We were heading to a memorable restaurant La Summa. Unique neighbourhood that retains its Italian character. No parking and very congested.

Great date spot for locals and fantastic tourist destination for people visiting Boston. The removal of the elevated highway cutting this neighborhood off from the rest of the city has really helped a lot. 15 years or so ago this neighborhood used to be 100% Italian, now you can see gentrification taking its toll as generational Italian families can either... This is a charming neighborhood. We didn't get to try any of the restaurants because of time constraints but when we come back we'll be sure to go back to the North End to eat. We did browse in a charming Italian grocery store; made us wish we lived nearby; could shop and go home to fix an wonderful meal.
