I drove down to the Peel from Philadelphia, PA to see Peter Hook & the Light. Great venue, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend. It's a favorite!

I came in town just because my favorite band was playing last night (Yellowcard) - I've been to a lot of concert venues all around, and really liked The Orange Peel. It has a very cool vibe, the venue is a good size - not too small, not too big, the bars and merch tables are easy to access, and... More

It's a large venue with tables inside next to the bar area. The venue does not have hard liquor instead just beer. The acoustics in the venue are good and the giant fan overhead helps to keep it cool inside! Definitely worth checking out if a band is in town you would like to see.

my friends and I decided to go see Yo Momma's Big Fat Booty Band at the peel last Saturday. The first thing to notice is that tickets are fairly reasonable and comparable to any other major venue. The Peel seems to be a converted warehouse, with a massive floor in the middle of the space with a few barstools and... More

I recently visited The Orange Peel for a concert, and overall had a very pleasant experience. It was definitely smaller than I was expecting, so if you have a problem with crowded spaces this may be cause for concern. However, the musician was absolutely wonderful and sounded great in the space. The Orange Peel provided more of an intimate/close space... More

I went to see a concert here and had a great time for most of the show. As the night got later the place started to fill up and finally I had to use the bathroom and could barely get there because all of the people. My husband and I left instead of fighting our way back to our spot.... More

We went here to see a band that we like, and that's all the good I can say about this place: It does attract good bands. What's worst from middle-aged perspective is that you have to stand for the entire show, unless you get one of the small number of seats available. You're standing in a crowd packed into a... More

It is hard to rate a music venue because a lot of it will depend on who is playing. It is a smaller venue, but the stage is pretty high so you can see even if you are in the back and short. It is standing room only, but they do have some stools and tables which is really nice.... More

Was really let down by this place, bands never went on, just a dj playing electronic music, the scene was mostly adults that looked like kids in jnko pants, remember those? You feel time warped back to a house party in like seventh grade for sure. The bar down stairs is a joke, again your friends parents basement vibe. If... More

If I am in Asheville odds are I am there to see a show and I love seeing the acts that visit the Orange Peel. It has great craft beer on tap and the sound system is premium. Security is always top notch so you never have to worry about your safety. High recommend you keep this place on your... More
