We use fair-trade organic coffee, locally roasted by Notorious Coffee Roasting Co. It is roasted in small batches weekly to keep it as fresh as possible. Milk shakes are also made the old fashioned way, using all premium vanilla ice cream and we offer all fruit smoothies made with real whole fruit. Our sweet treats are made by local bakeries here in Asheville. You can drink coffee anywhere, but how about atop an authentic 1963 British Double Decker Bus? You can't beat the coffee or the setting in Downtown Asheville. « less

Staff is friendly and on top of things. Great coffee and sweets. Hop on and have a coffee. Downtown Asheville is awesome and the double decker fits in perfect

It was cute. We were in town for the evening, so we decided to give it a try. The coffee was okay, the desserts were okay. It was not worth what they charge for anything we ordered.

The staff here is super friendly and very professional. I had a delicious chai latte and a brownie made by the local sweet monkey bakery. It was the perfect end to a perfect day in Asheville.

Downtown Asheville doesn't have many small coffee shops, but Double D's would stand on its own in any urban setting. The bus lacks in ceiling height, but makes up for it in local charm. We grabbed a couple very good lattes, and warmed up upstairs (the bus is heated). The second floor seating offers a great vantage point for downtown... More

The Double D is a great stop when you're visiting the downtown area. The warm browning sundae was amazing, but be prepared to share it with another person. It is huge!! There is seating upstairs and outside. If it's not too hot outside, sit upstairs just for the experience!

It was a rainy day so we stepped into this coffee shop to escape the roads for a second and had a great experience there.

This coffee shop is located in an old London double decker bus with the low ceilings and tight quarters that come with that space. The coffee though was terrific and of particular note is a Mocha drink they make that is generously laced with Cayenne pepper. Try it. I have a hard time ordering anything else at this fun downtown... More

Spotted this walking around the city, and being a big fan of England, had to stop by. The coffee selection is really unique, we had their specialty drinks, "Creme-breu-latte", "Double Decker" and "a Kick in the Bum". They were all really good, but a tad over priced. The upstairs of the bus had sitting, but not too much. It was... More

This is an old british bus that has a small coffee station on the first floor, uncomfortable bus benches upstairs and some picnic tables outside. This is not worth going to and actually buying anything. The barista incorrectly made both drinks I ordered, charged me the wrong amount (it was less so +1) and made a joke to an employee... More

Love, love, love the idea of sipping coffee inside a double decker bus! The coffee is not the best coffee but not the worst either. I also order the brownie sundae which was okay. You have to go just to sit upstairs.
