We use fair-trade organic coffee, locally roasted by Notorious Coffee Roasting Co. It is roasted in small batches weekly to keep it as fresh as possible. Milk shakes are also made the old fashioned way, using all premium vanilla ice cream and we offer all fruit smoothies made with real whole fruit. Our sweet treats are made by local bakeries here in Asheville. You can drink coffee anywhere, but how about atop an authentic 1963 British Double Decker Bus? You can't beat the coffee or the setting in Downtown Asheville. « less

My 13-year-old son could not wait to stop here after dinner for dessert. He had a smoothie, I had a shake, and my husband had an iced coffee. All were good. We'd recommend it mostly for its uniqueness.

We stopped by the Double D bus for coffee one morning. Our Lattes were yummy! We didn't try the baked goods... Although they looked wonderful! The bus is awesome! Great staff!

We giggled as we walked up to it, but started laughing once we went in. This place is not for tall people to linger in! My 6 ft tall husband stood with his head crooked to the side. We both ordered a specialty coffee and then went to sit on the upper deck (much taller up there). Much to our... More

We loved the Double D's Coffee and Desserts. The coffee was excellent and we loved the atmosphere! Sat upstairs facing Biltmore Ave and thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Very hip converted double decker bus with inside and outside experience. My Cappucino was great, cousins had ice tea and niece had a Mochachiller, all where good. Definitely worth a stop, and reasonably priced.

This was a very cool place we stopped into and visit. My girls purchase an ice cream for a treat. This is cash only transaction. This place is very clean and relaxing. We decided to sit upstairs in the bus to give our feet a rest. It's a great place to sip on coffee and read a book. Don't past... More

I am honestly taken aback by the review below me! I went to the bus on one of my recent (&frequent) trips to Asheville this past weekend. I have always driven by the bus on previous trips to the area and marveled at its "coolness" so I decided to finally stop in. It is so cute! The atmosphere was great... More

We had looked forward to visiting this charming venue for coffee and dessert during a recent visit to Asheville. It looks so fun---from the OUTSIDE. Once inside we had to listen to the baristas complain about tourists, even using obscenities. "Can you believe the audacity of tourist to come on to that bus and take PICTURES?!?! And you know these... More

It's a cute idea and worth stopping in for a cup of coffee and/or muffin. Nothing really special food-wise, but it's a fun idea and unique to experience at least once while you are in town

Great muffins, coffee drinks, and kids love pretending to drive the bus. They could spend an hour here hanging out and pretending to drive. One think to keep in mind is that it is cash only!
