This theater is FANTASTIC! The performances they bring to Asheville are top-notch, the theater itself is comfortable with terrific view lines, the sound is great and the lighting is wonderful, too. We lived in NYC for years and have experienced nearly all of the theaters in Manhattan, this one is right up there with the best of them. It's not... More

What a great event it was. Beautiful performers in creative structural dance moves and poses. I hope they come back because I will be front and center. Thank you for bringing us such great quality entertainment.

Wonderful theatre with amazing performances for a city Ashevill's size. We have seen two plays, a dance performance and a music performance in the past two months. So different from one another, but all r ally hi he quality. Definitely worth checking out. Even last minute tickets will be worth it since the back row isn't too far away.

We have enjoyed many shows at the DWT. We have been to a diverse array of shows there, from dance, to Scottish fiddle, an modern take on the nutcracker, and children's shows, ALL WONDERFUL! Loved them all!

A variety of high quality fine arts performances in a small theater where every seat is good makes this the best venue in downtown Asheville. Diane Wortham is superior to The Orange Peel (which is a bar scene for the less cultured who stand in a crowd to listen to music). DWT is for a more sophisticated, older, and cultured... More

We had a great time reminiscing with Arlo Gurthrie. Loved the Daina Wortham theatre! If I had known this was such a great venue I would have purchased tickets for both evenings!

The Arlo Guthrie concert was outstanding. My husband and I really wanted to get up and dance in the aisle during the show! Arlo was great, and the entire experience of coming to the Diana Wortham Theatre was a very positive one. Thanks for all you do to make each of our visits to the Theatre such a fantastic experience!

My husband and I live in downtown Asheville and have come to enjoy attending performances at the Diana Wortham Theatre. There is not a bad seat in the house. We just saw Arlo Guthrie and can't wait for the Celtic Festival. Well organized, comfortable and great service.

Four of us drove from Johnson City TN to see the Arlo Guthrie 50th Anniversary of Alice's Restaurant tour. Being a person of a certain age, it certainly brought me back to the day. The concert was fantastic, 80% music, 20% wonderful storytelling by Arlo about his father Woody, Woodstock, it all just came alive. There are no "bad" seats... More
