We visited in late June expecting to see lots of flowers in bloom, we were so disappointed. The hike was moderately difficult and the views from the top were beautiful, but No Flowers were blooming.

This is one place you should plan to stop at. Fist to see the views and then to get your questions answered. You can also find a few nice souvenir items there.

What's not to love about the view from Craggy Gardens. We took our guests for a wonderful hike. We had enjoyed the shop too.

Fantastic trails, did several trails which wind up and through the trees, long views of the parkway and beautiful mountains. Walk is mildy tough, but if you're in decent shape you'll have no problems. Pack some snacks and water and hang out and listen to the wind and enjoy the quiet.

A beautiful short drive on the Blueridge Parkway away from Asheville. The Pinnacle hike is pretty easy and leads to 360 views of surrounding mountains. Even the parking lot offers pretty views! Lots of mosses, ferns, wild blueberries, and rhododendrons.

We visited Craggy Gardens on a rainy, foggy morning, so our experience wasn't as good as it could be. The rangers at the visitor center were informative and helpful. The trail was well worn and easy to follow, but could be challenging to those not used to hiking. A little rocky and it more resembled a creek bed with the... More

This is a great place to explore. There are several trails of various levels. The scenery is beautiful. Our favorite trail is the Pinnacle Trail. We go in late August and hike to the top and pick fresh mountain blueberries. Bring a lunch and eat at one of picnic benches. Please pick up your trash. Take what you brought. Enjoy!

This is a special place North of Asheville on the Blueridge Parkway. There is s trail and a picnic area nearby. It is especially beautiful when the mtn laurels are in bloom.
