My spouse and I shared the one-hour lesson for our birthdays. You learn a great deal. The driving is great...in one hour one can hardly expect crazy stuff. People with practically no off-road experience should just get their feet wet the first time. It shouldn't be a frightening ride but an enjoyable learning experience. The lesson does that and makes... More

I went, and I left. You can only go 2 miles an hour and the track is about 30 feet long. Not worth it.

By far, this is the most fun driving experience I ever had! We started our day meeting Clark, our instructor. We are interested in purchasing a Range Rover Sport so we inquired if it would be ok if we drove one of those instead of the LR4. Clark said it was no problem and we were off to the trail.... More

Staying at the Inn on Biltmore and having recently bought a new Range Rover Sport, I could not resist taking a 3-hour lesson (in someone else's vehicle! - but they made sure I used one with the same spec as my own) My primary objective was to learn what the Range Rover was capable of and how best to use... We are pass holders at the estate and I requested this as a Birthday Present. We had a small problem at the beginning regarding a schedule mix up, but Penny Olson stepped in and got us reserved for today at 2 pm with Ben Wooten, Senior Instructor at the school. We drove the big Range Rover and we can't stop... More

If you own a Land Rover, or if you don't but want to see what it can do off road, this school is a must do. The team of instructors take you out on the trails, with a selection of their trucks, and explain to you how to drive it carfully, as well as get yo to experience the capabilities... More

I bought my first Land Rover in 2013 and haven't been real comfortable with all the features. For my Valentine's gift my husband gave me the owner's Land Rover Experience Driving School that is held 4 times a year at Biltmore (and, at three other locations). The class is limited to 16 cars, and there were 8 instructors. It had... More

Wonderful day being coached by professional off road driver Ray. The instructor communicated clearly and guided me safely up and down steep and slippery hills, rocks and deep holes and over large logs in a Range Rover sport. The technology is amazing but one needs the skills to use the technology to one's best advantage. Served a wonderful boxed lunch.
