Brings back memories of the original Woolworth's in Greensboro. Similar counter seating with old fashioned details. Food was surprisingly good. Had the turkey club that comes with cheese and Granny Smith apple slices. Very interesting sandwich and VERY good. Got crowded as many locals came to eat there on their lunch hour. Not expensive at all.

If your looking to see over one hundred artists pieces exhibited in one place, look no further. The is even the original soda fountain in operation if you get a urging for sweets.

We just love visiting the shops and cafe in this gallery. Whenever we go downtown walking, if it's open we go in and browse. Any time we are showing people from out of town Downtown Asheville, we bring them to this venue.

The art exhibits are very nice and it was neat to get a fountain drink and grab a quick, inexpensive lunch.

A classic lunch counter in an old Woolworths that serves sandwiches, shakes, etc. The rest of the store has been turned into a gallery for local artists.

Always interesting pieces from local artists. Glassworks, painting, photographs...anything you would like in the way of crafts, this place has it all. Located in the former Woolworth's, they still have the fountain where you can order food and drinks.

If you like crafts, this is a great place to browse....right in the middle of Asheville, it captures the essence of the city's artsy vibe. You can stroll at your leisure & enjoy the open feel of the place! I've been here a couple of times & always found something I couldn't live without!

Arts and crafts vary from wonderful and beautiful to typical and boring, so it's fun to stroll and look. The sofa fountain is overrated. Eat at Luella's on Lexington.

This is an Asheville "must see". So many different artists to see and two floors of art. Add in a soda fountain where you can get a soda float, this is a must see and "worth" a visit.

I truly loved this art collaborative. There are all different types of work for sale in this large and airy building. I also had a root-beer float at the soda fountain. I loved this place and would go back!
