The Woolworth Walk was great because you got to go into the A/C and see some amazing artwork for sale. Plus they have an old-fashioned lunch counter! This is a nice, non-crowded (at least while we were there) attraction.

The Woolworth Walk is housed in an old five and dime store and provides a wonderful space for artists to showcase and sell their work. High quality work and always something new and fresh to see. And the original soda fountain is still in operation. Great chocolate sodas!

A neat look at the recreated historic Greensboro, NC Woolworth counter. The rest of the location includes the work of local artisans. Very interesting pieces, similar to other venues displaying local artisan work.

Stop and get the best malt in town at the old 50's soda fountain. Very interesting art displays inside the old Woolworth's store.

We enjoyed a great lunch at the lunch counter, then browsed around the artwork. It is a fun place to wander around and see unique hand crafted artwork. Our lunch was great and the atmosphere perfect. Great spot!

Very unique place, they have a coffee shop to pick up a fast bite to eat. They have art from paintings, to pottery and everything between from cheap to expensive. One of my favorite places to visit.

If you are visiting Asheville, this is a fun place to stop and browse a lot of interesting hand crafted art in one place. Two floors of painting, wood carvings, hand dyed clothing, sculpture, etc.

Not being a significant art lover, I had my reservations about this place. It has artwork of a wide variety of types and mediums, so even I was able to find pieces that I was fascinated by. The best part is anything you fall in love with you can purchase, the same way you would at any other store. Take... More

Some very creative artists display here and it is an entertaining venue. Sunday BLTs with a root beer float at the soda fountain topped the visit

Lots of booths containing LOCAL art, jewelry, clothes, photographs, handmade soaps and on and on. Has an upstairs and downstairs. Also has a old style woolworth cafe inside to get a really good lunch and ice cream! Definitely a place to stop in and browse.
