This 1938 F.W. Woolworth store has been converted into a gallery, where art of every kind is for sale (160 artists). Some of it, especially the photos of Walter Arnold, are very, very good. The 1950's lunch counter is a special charm.

Non-pretentious way to see new art. Very affordable and many different genres. I bought a lovely pair of earrings as a gift. Staff was helpful without hovering. I had just eaten lunch or I would have enjoyed the lunch counter.

Always go back during X-mas time, it feels you are in a different time and place. It invites you to shop and spend quality of time and can enjoy a cup of coffee.

I just wanted to see more art & find more cafes in it. It's a quick 10 minute trek through to catch while on your way to MalaProps bookstore...

I love Woolworth Walk! It is, in fact, in a renovated Woolworth's, and it still has a little restaurant like they had in the 50's where you can get a hot dog or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But mostly I like that there are dozens of booths showing lots of different artwork. Textiles, oils, jewelry, metal ... it's... More

When we visit Asheville, we always spend some time in the Woolworth Walk. Whether it is pre-holiday to shop for unique gifts, or just to stroll and browse all of the interesting stalls, we always see something we haven't seen before. I have found some fun and unusual pieces for my home in addition to several gifts during our trips... More

Incredible selection of art on two floors of an historic Woolworth store. Old soda fountain is still intact and churning out delicious food!

I really enjoyed visiting the old Woolworth's, which brought back many childhood memories. There was a wide variety of great local art. I bought some pottery. The lunch counter looked cool too.

This is a nice place to walk through when in Asheville. If you have ever been in a woolworth building, the building would bring back so many memories. and the art for sale is from local artist.
