Unique artists

Large booths with individual artists displaying nice quality items at good values. An old Woolworth cafe serves sandwiches ad sodas made like we enjoyed in the good old days.

This was the second time we visited Ashville and stopped into the old Woolworths Building now housing Artist Booths filled with all types of artwork, handcrafts, clay works and more. Of course we always make time to stop by the original counter for a root beer float!

As we were walking around downtown, we decided to stop in several places just because. This was a really laid back art gallery/soda shop. I am an art lover as well as a milkshake lover, so it fit in well! We showed up a little late since they stop serving food at 4, but I will be back to try... More

Tons of unique artist booths of every discipline and style. There is art for every critic. Not to mention the neat antique soda bar. Snap a few pictures but skip on lunch. There are just to many restaurants less than a stone throw away that strive to impress. The history and architecture of the Woolworth is worth visiting and the... More

There are still local artists featured here, but there appeared to be more generic items that can be found anywhere...more so than the last time I visited Asheville. I was last here 6 years ago and it seemed to have many more unique things then.

I enjoyed the variety of local crafters stalls. Seemed to have quite a mix of lower end to high end gifts.

We enjoyed strolling through the artists' booths and seeing a variety of media and art styles. Especially if you are short on time, this is a great way to see a little of the great art scene in Asheville.

The art and the soda fountain provided for a perfect afternoon on a cold and blustery day in January!

An old Woolworths turned into a local art gallery - lots of fun stuff to look at and definitely things that were affordable if you were in the mood to buy. One of the things I loved most about Asheville's downtown compared to say Charleston is that it is almost 100% local. Who wants to go somewhere just to shop... More
