My wife and I toured the Folk Art Center while staying in Asheville. It was wonderful! My wife loved all the quilts on display. We both enjoyed all the handicraft exhibits. Definately well worth the time. There are so many nice things for sale. It was good we were flying or our car would have been loaded down. More

The Folk Art Center was smaller than I anticipated and I would have liked to see more contemporary adaptations of the traditional arts. The overall quality of the work was excellent and a must see if in the area. More

My Mom and I had never been before so we decided this trip to be sure and stop. The building is two stories with objects for sale on the first floor and a gallery on the second floor. It was Fiber Day when we went so they had some demonstrations outside with a couple of animals like sheep & alpacas.... More
