Super fun date night or family night. Great choices of food around park. Staff does great job making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Almost every night offers something extra special. Great way to spend an evening and tons cheaper than a dark movie theater.

I love visiting minor league ball parks, and had high hopes for the Tourists homepark, but it is a bit dull, and frankly, the outfield view of the hillside hovered atop with a high school bleacher, well it just kind of felt blahhh. Beers were well priced, restrooms better than some (take that Savannah), but the franks were just plain... More

If you are a baseball fan, you need to go see a Tourists game. They are much better than single A ball, and a delight to go see. The park is great--kept in good condition but still 'vintage' enough to invoke fond memories of childhood and older ballparks. Try to go on Thirsty Thursdays, where beers are just $1 (after... More

Everything is Asheville is on a hill....Mccormick field, home of the Asheville Tourists, is also. But, a complimentary shuttle from parking areas to the gate is provided. Stadium is cozy with excellent views.

We so enjoy McCormick Field. We usually sit "in the front row" to enjoy the game and interact with the players. The "games" between innings add to the festivity of the game. "Thirsty Thursday" beer specials are good, but it is "date night" for many of the young locals and getting a beer can take a while. Thank goodness they... More

Went for the first time this weekend with the grand kids and had a good time. Nice ballpark and great employees. Was worried about the parking but it was free and not too hard to find although limited. The stands were clean and comfortable, the right field side is in the shade during the afternoon.

We could not wait to visit this ballpark, which is the third oldest in the country, behind only Fenway and Wrigley Field. They say Babe Ruth once played here, as did other greats. The ghosts of baseball past shine down on this awesome field. Tucked in the hills, literally built into the side of a mountain, and 3/4 circled by... More

Going to an Asheville Tourist game is a family fun time. If you go alone with friends Thirsty Thursday is a must.

For $8 a ticket, free parking, good beer selection (and cheap compared to major league prices), great seats, and we even saw the two mascots fight over a girl, what is not to like? Wish the game was better (Greenville won 14-1), but with an anouncer sounding exactly like Rev Lovejoy from the Simpsons and kids racing between innings in... More

I will qualify this review by stating from the start that I'm a baseball nut. That said we went to the park the other night and enjoyed ourselves very much. The park was easy to find, the parking was close when we arrived and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The food was standard ball park for the... More
