A fun-for-the-family experience for locals, but visitors will note how dedicated to their team some fans are, such as bringing an official scorebook to record every at-bat, etc. This charming, small stadium has a beautiful outfield backdrop of tall trees. Food prices are perfect -- if you count Thirsty Thursday's $1 drafts and Friday's dollar-dog nights. Plus, you can sit... More

Quick and easy to get tickets. Parked right outside the stadium. Lots of fun activities throughout the game. Lots of options for seating. Tons of give always throughout the game.

Cozy little historic ballpark! Prices are good (we paid $11.50 for second-row premium box seats!), lots of food choices at decent prices. Our seats even had servers who would take your order and deliver your food. Enjoyable time, watching the up-and-coming kids playing their hearts out. And due to the sponsorship of honey.com, if you bring a receipt (from any... More

Traveled to a game with my son and his "wife to be" and her parents. This was a treat a few days before the wedding and a time to relax !!

A baseball game is just plain fun, but The Tourist add a whole lot more. It seems like every inning has something going on, racing around the bases, shooting off t-shirts in the stands, three-legged race and other games. They also have fireworks at the end of some of the weekend games. The mascots are also very kid friendly. There... More

This is the oldest Minor League Ballpark in the US, but has been renovated and maintained to make a fan's experience top-notch. There are plenty of concession stands and bathrooms. The food selections were excellent with the usual food and drink items. The seats are all individual seats with armrests and drink holders. No matter where you sit you will... More

I can honestly tell you this is my family's favorite baseball park in America. We travel to Asheville a couple of times a year and visiting McCormick Field is a major reason. Minor League baseball is great and intimate to start with, but McCormick field is the idyllic spot to spend a summer evening watching baseball. While other places in... More

Great time, great fun, great game. Everyone we encountered, from merchants to players, made our visit enjoyable. We were welcomed as friends, not strangers!
