Great date

Nothing better than watching live baseball. Stadium has tickets at all price points. Great beer selection! Can walk from downtown.

As a kid, I remember watching Banjo Matthews, Dickie Plemons, Robert Pressley, our locals race against names like Ralph Earnhart, Joe Weatherly, Lee Petty and more. Banjo ran Mr X and the local fans did not like him because he won all the local races. He went on to be the greatest chassis builder in NASCAR history and a man... More

Wow! Asheville has its own AA Farm Team, top of their league. This venue brings together the excitement of new talent seeking to break into the major league with the hometown feel of your neighborhood ball park. Mirroring major league, there are events for the entire family.

It is always fun to take in an Asheville Tourist's Baseball Game during the season which runs from April to Labor Day! Be sure to shake hands with Ted E. Tourist the team's mascot. We always pay a little extra to get box seats which are more comfortable seating than the regular " general admission" bleachers.....

McCormick Field in the middle of Asheville is a throwback to the days of small stadiums where the crowd is a part of the game.

Asheville Tourist baseball is inexpensive way to have fun and enjoy an outing. All seats have excellent site lines and there are silly fun things to keep everyone entertained. Refreshments are varied and priced ok. Had a great time and will go again on fireworks nights

This is one of the best places that I have ever watched a baseball game. The stadium is old and small, but it is charming and comfortable.

Our first experience of a baseball game (v Augusta Greenjackets) and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction (family of 5 with 3 boys aged 7 to 15). The staff were amazing from someone directing us where to park to the steward showing us to our seats and then throughout the game checking on us, explaining the rules etc... More

We LOVE going to baseball games here. The Tourists play their hearts out and all the games are fun. Get tickets in the first few rows and you will get wait service for food and drinks. The firework shows are exceptional for a small team baseball park. The food and local beers are great.

Last night I spent a delightful evening at McCormick Field watching the Asheville Tourists, they did lose the game (can’t win them all!), but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and they really go all out to make it a fun experience. I found the ticket prices almost ridiculously refreshing. I was in a box seat, front row A between third... More
