We were amazed -- great art in one room after another, on three floors, including a stunning display by Ron Isaacs. No elevator, so be prepared to walk. More like a museum than a gallery.

We've traveled all over the world.....galleries in far flung places.....but this gallery competes. Fine choices of many types of media: paintings, sculpture, glass, etc. Pricey but for great quality art. Don't miss it even if you are just looking.

Asheville is THE most pathetically overrated city in the southeast (aside from Greenville, SC, though they are two very different entities, somewhat polarized from each other). A lot of people who think Asheville is "IT" really don't know it all that well. It is a city being killed by its own success. That being said, John Cram's contributions to the... More

I visited along with my mother and two of her friends, all of whom are working artists. We were very impressed with the gallery and the caliber of the work. The gallery was preparing to open a new show, so it was only partially hung, but what we saw was top-notch--drawings by an artist who has spent a lot of... More

This gallery was dead on the Sunday afternoon that we visited, and the atmosphere was very somber. The featured art was interesting to see, but the prices were very high - I prefer the Woolworth Walk for my personal budget and taste.

One of the finest galleries in the USA. If you love true American crafts and art you must visit Blue Spiral. I always try to visit when I go to Asheville.

A gorgeous gallery to visit, exquisite lighting, fascinating work of many dimensions by talented artists and craftspeople. Little bit overpriced, even by Asheville art gallery standards.

I'm not much into the whole art gallery scene, but of all of the galleries we went to, this was by far the neatest one. I don't know that I could afford much of what was there but it was something to appreciate. A little bit of everything.

Blue Spiral is THE gallery in downtown Asheville. They have three floors of wonderful offerings--all first-quality, imaginative. All if not most of their artists are exclusive to Blue Spiral. Those who are looking for blown glass and other glass items will be particularly delighted. Their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable--and not at all pushy. If you can't transport what... More

They have lots of great art in a cool old building. The gallery seems to go on and on with much to see.
