My hub and I were spending the weekend in Asheville, staying at the Renaissance Hotel just steps away from ACT, so we got online and bought two of the last remaining tickets to Saturday night's performance of Amadeus. We thought it would be nice, entertaining, charming... What we didn't expect was the world-class performance by the lead actor playing Antonio... More

We just saw Chorus Line at the Asheville Community Theater and were incredibly impressed. We will definitely be back for many more productions.

We discovered ACT 3 years ago. Never disappointed. Recently, at the smaller theater, 35 Below, we saw JEN & JOHN. This theater holds only 40 people, very intimate. This play was performed extremely well, by only two people. Just tonight we went to the larger theater, which seats at least 200, and saw A CHORUS LINE. A real singular sensation.... More

This venue has 2 sides- one that seats I think 400 people and one side that seats about 40 for a smaller production. We went to the small part to see the one man monologue Santa's Diaries. The guy that was in it was outstanding and I do not know how in the world he can remember all that he... More

Great family oriented atmosphere, could bring drinky drinks into the theatre, only thing was tickets were overpriced for a 45 minute show.

As a member I select 5 programs per year. I chose Charlie Brown's Christmas to simply get into the holiday spirit and I was not disappointed. The play was fun, just like I remember from my childhood, but the most fun was seeing the children in the audience react. After all, that is what Christmas plays are for! We also... More

We have now seen two shows by ACT: Kiss Me Kate, and The Addams Family, and both were wonderful and so much fun! Ben Falcon's "Too Darn Hot" musical number (with percussion) was fantastic in Kiss Me Kate. We loved the actor who played Gomez in The Addams Family, too. ACT is such a class act: very professional directing, great... More

I bought tickets to see the Addams Family for Tracy as a Birthday gift. This was my first time visiting ACT. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been to NYC and watched the shows on Broadway. But I must say I was more impressed with the show today. It was a true gem here in the mountains of WNC. The... More

Over the past two years, we have become return patrons of this Asheville gem. It is only two hours from Charlotte NC and it has become the high point of of our monthly weekend visits !! Once again the ACT Team has put on a wonderful play & the cast was superb ! This play surely cannot be missed !!
