We popped into the Textile and Auto Museums then browsed the Gallery where I purchased some pottery made by a local artist. Lovely view from the nearby hotel.

We appreciate the positive review! We have a special exhibit opening in October and running through the end of December that will feature a lot of local potters. If you happen to be in the area, please stop by. Hope to see you soon! More

This gallery is in the general vicinity of the Grove Park Inn. I recommend driving 'through' the parking areas for the Grove Park Inn and going directly to this conclave of buildings -- a small restaurant, the gallery, an outdoor art space and a free car museum. There is a small, but adequate, parking lot there. Inside the gallery are... More

It is an annual trip for us each year. They have hundreds of artists works on display. Hard to find but when you arrive the parking is huge and the shop is very inviting. Don't pass this gallery up!

It is like going into a art museum. There are LOTS of vendors' wares displayed and they are most unique. Stop in here and also walk around the Grove Park Inn. We walked around for a half hour at least and were not staying there. You get amazing views of the mountains. You could also get a drink and sit... More

I could spend an entire afternoon in this store. Great galley located behind the Grove Park Inn. Make sure you find this gem!

Steve, thanks for the great review! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. We can certainly be a challenge to find, being in a residential neighborhood, and hope to get some directional and wayfinding signs in the vicinity soon. More

What a great gallery! Amazing works of art from very talented artists. Upstairs was a large gallery of unique furniture. Well worth the stop.

Great location, really good selection of high end crafts and beautiful setting. If you are interested in historical Asheville don't miss this. If you are just a beer drinker forget about it!

Visiting the gallery is akin to touring a museum. The craftsmanship is remarkable and occasionally you will meet the artist. With rotating pieces, each visit inspires the viewer. No matter what your pleasure or budget, there is something for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.

The amount and quality of the art is impressive. Local and regional artists are featured. Staff is great, helpful and knowledgeable. Plan to spend some time there, especially touring the gardens and viewing the outside art. There's also a car museum within walking distance. The café was a disappointment but everything else was fantastic.

Joe, thanks for the positive feedback. We feel like our grounds and gardens are what sets us apart from other galleries in the Asheville area. I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the cafe next door to us. The cafe actually closed this week, so we hope to have a new neighbor soon. We hope to see you... More
