Best gallery in Asheville!

Beautiful furniture and art. It was nearly like going to a museum. High quality! The furniture is outstanding but quite pricey.

Thanks for the positive review! We really appreciate your feedback. All of our furniture is hand-built by regional and national makers who use locally-sourced and reclaimed materials. We believe every piece in the gallery has a story, and the high-quality craftsmanship and passion of the artists is reflected in each work of art. Yes, our prices are higher than most... More

We totally missed this gallery during our visits to the Grove Park Inn last year. I discovered it today ON TRIP ADVISOR! We were so impressed with this gallery, it's high quality merchandise from local artisans, and the friendly staff at the gallery.

We visit the gallery several times a year, as the craftsmen and products change. Hand made furniture, glassware, pottery, books, yummy jewelry, and a variety of wooden bowls & cooking tools are just a few of the items you'll find. These are not cheaply made pieces, but workmanship worthy of wearing or display in your home. We have recently begun... More

We love getting feedback from locals! Thank you so much for your continued patronage. We do have a couple of things planned next month in conjunction with the 29th National Arts & Crafts Conference (taking place across the street at the GPI). We will be hosting demonstrations and displays by letter carver Clark Kellogg and world-class sculptural basketry artist Matt... More

Wonderful car collection with interesting history of the cars. Beautiful gallery of works art from furniture to pottery and jewelry. Admission is free and they also have a cafe that was to open in two weeks. Convenient location across from Grove Park Inn. Also interesting yard sculpture decorated the grounds. Take the time to enjoy this gem.

Escape from the craziness at the nearby Grove Park Inn and wander through this gallery filled with fun, beautiful and whimsical art for sale. Check out the historic pictures and learn a bit about the history of the buildings and how the creative arts thrived in the area.

This gallery is one of the best in Asheville but unless you consciously put it on your list, you will overlook it. Housed in the historic English Arts and Crafts building originally constructed by hotel developer Edwin Grove to provide space for Biltmore Industries that he had purchased from Edith Vanderbilt, this gallery represents some of the finest contemporary area... Many folks discover us while visiting our neighbor, The Grove Park Inn. Although we are not affiliated with the inn, we share a history with them as well as the Biltmore Estate. Edwin Grove's... After touring the Biltmore and Grove Park Inn, finding Grovewood Gallery was the "cherry on top". Really fine craftmanship, wide selection, and excellent furniture on the second floor. A real Christmas Week treat!

This gallery takes the traditional and not so traditional crafts and elevates them to high art. The curator must be very discerning as there is nothing common about the items available. Beautiful and contemporary furniture, art, pottery the list goes on.

Especially functional art work such as dishware and furniture. They also have their own parking lot so you do not have to pay the parking fee for the Grove Park Inn. Great jewelry and whimsical gifts as well as traditional paintings and great outdoor sculptures.
