What a beautiful inn - both the old and new sections. We went for Thanksgiving dinner and to see the gingerbread houses and later wished we had stayed at the inn. However, it was pricey so we stayed elsewhere and enjoyed visiting. The gingerbread houses were displayed nicely with beautifully decorated Christmas trees everywhere. The Thanksgiving meal was delicious and... More

If you've stayed at the Omni Grove Park, without using the spa facilities, you've missed the point of going. The spa area here is massive. There are indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and numerous indoor pool areas, all heated to the proper temps. There are minerals added to sooth the skin. There's a cool waterfall hot tub area, where the... Celebrating My Wife’s Birthday I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday, so I picked the Grove Park Inn. My wife, my 2 yr old son and I arrived at the Grove Park Inn and were amazed not by the historical aspect of the hotel and their prior guests, but by the service that we received. We were greeted, by warm... More

The most amazing hideaway for adults!! The atmosphere was cozy and the ambiance was serene. I could be there every weekend! No matter what issues you may or may not have had with the hotel, the spa is in it's own world, and one of a kind.

Look, not a lot of manly men do the spa thing. Their loss. My wife set me up for several hours at the spa waiting on my manicure (first ever, in 43 years). The spa is physically amazing. Incredible. The service is first class. The pools are super relaxing. Saunas are awesome. And the manicure, with hot rock manicure, it... More

Attended a nephews wedding here. Absolutely great event, staff. Great listening to music and having a cocktail in the lobby area. Very relaxing. Staff were extremely helpful and we would highly recommend the Sunday brunch. That was "awesome"! Great experience. There was a lady at the front door that I wish I had paid more attention to her name. She... More

What was once a glorious place, this has been expanded and "modernized". The monstrous addition is horrifying, and the one-time "southern hospitality" is just plain rude.

GPI is a must visit, it is a beautiful stone resort built into the Blue Ridge Mountains! The spa is built underneath the resort and is simply breathtaking. I felt like I was inside of the mountains with all the stone and caverns. The pools and saunas were amazing. I left completely relaxed...the beds in the hotel rooms were some... More

The hotel and lobby are stunning. A bit of a hike around parking lots to get to the lobby so if you are doing a spa trip for a few dollars more use the valet. You will feel like jello later and be glad you did. So..bit of a hike around and down but stunning. The spa is as stunning... More
