As a massage therapist for 20 years, you experience numerous massages and spas. I feel this is one of the best around. Your walk to the spa are paved with numerous glimpses of the mountains and stunning landscaping. You can stop and rock the hours away looking at the view in one of the many rocking chairs are offered. You... more

The rush to find the Spa melted away the minute we were lead in by the female conceirge. Went to see the Gingerbread houses and had such a good time. There is so much to do such as sit by the fireplace or go on one of the terraces to look out at the mountains. You can also eat there and do some shopping. Would love to stay there some time. You wouldn't have to leave the "resort". more

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Our stress just melted away, and we were unbelievably relaxed the entire stay! The facilities are incredible with attention to details. The atmosphere is (mostly) very quiet and serene...depending on how loud the guests are. My massage was an 80 min aromatherapy- pretty nice, but the masseuse was very repetitive... more

My husband and I live about an hour and a half outside of Asheville and went to the Spa on a whim for Fourth of July. We loved it. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful while respecting our time to relax. The spa has multiple pools including a lap pool, an indoor pool, outdoor warm pool along with two... more

My Mother and I actually stayed at the Inn on Biltmore, after reading of some of the disapointments with the Grove Park hotel itself, but were absolutely not going to miss out on one of the best spas in the southeast! All I can say is WOW... I was completely blown away at the ammenities the spa offered and the... more

I am very taken back by all of the negative responses about the historic Grove Park Inn. I have to admit that it took me a few hours to totaly grasp what the inn is all about. Once I took the time to walk the halls and ponder at old photographs, took time to read the inscriptions on the massavie... more
