This venue has optimal acoustics. It is a nominal size with no bad seats at all. If you want to actually hear the music (instruments and vocals), this is the place to go. The location is great, too.

What a great venue!! Gotta go see a show. Great downtown location with good drinks. We really enjoyed how casual the atmosphere was! Very comfortable with good accoustics.

A great little intimate theater where you can always catch a great little or big gig. Six of us enjoy some wonderful jazz. Have been here several times and enjoyed it each time.

The theater seats about 120 , some small tables ,raised side seats. And I got to hear Livingston Taylor. What a great entertainer, so interactive with the audience. they also have a restaurant down the street and can serve you in the theater. Good crab cake acoustics are really good.

This is a terrific small venue where you can enjoy regional talent in a cabaret setting. The beer and wine selections are well chosen.

been there only once, but have missed many a good show there. If an artist you like is there, there probably isn't a better place to see em. If I'm not mistaken they have light refreshments

Have attended a few shows, and this a very nice location for catching small, intimate shows. The sound quality is superb, and not so loud as to be uncomfortable. The seat in back are elevated, thus everyone has a view of the stage. The fit and finish of the building itself deserves a nod, nice choice of materials (Leed certified)... More

Had the distinct pleasure of seeing Jonathan Edwards perform at the Altamont Theater. The room seats about 120 and seating is a combination of tables and chairs. There is a small bar downstairs that serve wine and brews (nice selection!). The sound was perfect. JE signed CD's at the merch table after the show. Staff was friendly and helpful. The... More
