This is a unique and fun way to enjoy multiple restaurants in one day in a city that prides itself on locally grown food in many of their restaurants. My wife and I did the "Classic Tour" only because we did the tour on a Sunday and the "High Roller" tour was not offered that day. The tour starts off... More

Asheville is home to some fantastic food and what better to experience this than a food tour! Make sure you're hungry as there is plenty of delicious food on this tour - starting off with sparkling wine (previously known as champagne) and appetisers we were then taken on a journey through a handpicked selection of Asheville's better restaurants tasting fresh... We have taken this tour twice. We actually visited more restaurants on the "Classic" tour than on the "High Roller" tour. Great variety and excellent food. We took houseguests on this last tour and I mistakenly checked the "no food issues" box. (One of our friends cannot eat cheese or cream.) Hank, the tour guide, was very apologetic and even... More

We did the high roller tour, which was $57/person and included seven restaurants. It took 2.5 hours. We had a great time exploring some of the city's top restaurants - it changes daily, but we started at this awesome eclectic used book store where we had an appetizer and champagne, then on to Cucina 24, Zambra, Strada Italiano, Chestnut, Chocolate... My wife and I did the Classic Tour on Saturday and it was great. Hank, our guide, had a lot of interesting things to say about the food scene in Asheville and a lot of background on the restaurants that we visited, one time even more than the manager who was talking to us at one of the restaurants. He... More

My sisters and I spent last week in Asheville and took this tour the day before we left. Our guide was funny and attentive and since we had a smaller group, it was more intimate. We visited 7 places and had distinctly different things to eat at all of them. The short uphills were easily walkable. The wines and food... More

This was our first trip to Asheville ...and what a great introduction to the city! Stuart was our wonderful guide who not only took us to 7 great restaurants, but provided some interesting history and architectural information on the city as well. We were welcomed at each stop by managers, chefs and/or owners who shared their stories and served up... More

This was our first trip to Ashveille and the tour, "Eating Asheville" came highly recommended by Trip Advisor and the owner/operator of our B&B. We were not disappointed! Led by a local "Foodie", we were led to 6 different local restaurants where we enjoyed a sample of their faire and in some places a sample of wine or Sangria. We... More

We have taken food tours in several cities and have found it is an excellent way to learn something about the location while sampling good food and drink. This tour was no exception, Stuart was a wonderful guide and the restaurants gave us delicious samplings of food and drink. Fun to talk to some of the owners and learn how... More

The Eating Asheville Tour was such an awesome experience. Stephen was very informative not only about the the food & wine that was being served but by also sharing some of Asheville's history with us. All of the dishes served were absolutely delightful and lets not forget the final reward....the indulging dark chocolate from French Broad. Decadent! We were so... More
