My sister and I like to do food tours while traveling and this was a great one. Stuart was very gracious and knowledgeable about the restaurant scene and history of Asheville. The meeting place is a wonderful used book/coffee shop in a historical building. The walk was easy and the food and servers were delightful. We were greeted by several... More

My husband and I just took this tour Friday March 28th and WOW was it great! Our guide was friendly and great giving us some history of Asheville along the way. The food and drink pairing was perfect. We ended up with a favorite (Zambra) and even went there for dinner that same night. What a great feel as soon... More

Great tour of a lot of really interesting places cooking up great dishes. This would be a great first stop on a trip to acclimate yourself with where to eat the rest of your trip. Loved all the food...wish we had more days to go back to some of the stops.

I was in Asheville for over a week, and I can without a doubt say that the Eating Asheville walking food tour was the highlight of my visit! I couldn't stop by just going once, a few days later I ended up going again to see what else Asheville had to offer. Outstanding friendliness and knowledge of Asheville. It would... More

We had a perfect March day with the temps at about 70 and Asheville was alive with entertainers on corners and tourists buzzing around. Our guide, Corine, was so personable and sweet, and took us to places we would never have discovered on our own with the plethora of eateries in Asheville. We had ample tastings from several top places,stand... More

We've lived in Asheville for four years but don't dine out nearly as often as we'd like to. This was a great way to try out 6 different restaurants, get a feel for their menu and ambiance, and best of all, learn what they stand for. The High Roller tour we took focused on Farm to Table restaurants, a movement... More

This was the second time I've participated in the Eating Asheville tour and found it to be every bit enjoyable as the first. The first time I took the Classic Tour and this time we did the High Roller due to space limits on the Classic. Eating Asheville takes you to places where you experience not just a taste of... More

We are locals who spent our Mother/Son Weekend at Christ School on the tour with our high school sons. It was a great food experience and allowed us to sample great locally owned, farm to table restaurants. Some we had been to and others were new to us, but all exceeded our expectations. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Stuart, led... More

Did not know what to expect since it was a cold and windy day, but once we got started with the tour guided by the charming and knowledgeable Stuart, we knew we made the right choice! All the locations, food and pairings were exquisite. The visit to Cucina 24, where Chef Brian Canipelli took the time out of his very... More
