What a great way to spend an afternoon! The tour is nicely paced and touches upon a good variety of restaurants. Most places offered a drink pairing which was much appreciated. Our guide, Hank, was a wealth of knowledge and even pronounced "Gewurtztraminer" perfectly! He was personable and informative. I was totally impressed that he accommodated my friend's food allergy.... More

My husband brought me to Asheville for the first time this past weekend and we had too places we wanted to try so a food tour seemed like the best way to accomplish the most in a small amount of time. We were introduced to great coffee, snack food, high end dining, beer/wine/cocktails and so much more!! I will totally... More

This is a walking food tour of various restaurants in downtown Asheville. The tour we took covered an area of slightly more than a mile in distance and took about 2-1/2 hours. We visited about 8 different restaurants selected by the tour company. My understanding is that the restaurants selected change on a regular basis. Our tour was led by... More

We eat in Asheville often, but wanted to sample some we haven't been to, but will certainly return. We have been on food tours in NYC & New Orleans, and this fun food tour is right up there with the big ones. Stewart (not sure spelling) was a joy. We were on the 'High Roller' tour, which had a little... More

Wow! Superior gastronomic and cultural experience! Never been to Asheville before, so I needed an activity to help orient me to the city. Our guide, Hank, was great too! The High Roller version of the tour is worth every penny.

A great way to spend the afternoon getting to know some of the best, and sometimes hidden, places to eat in Asheville. As we traveled the cold, blustery streets during the first snow, our guides kept us well entertained. We were warmly welcomed into each establishment and treated to some of the most amazingly delicious farm to table dishes and... More

Stuart guided my wife and I (along with our enlightened 19-year old grandson) on an oenophile's gastronomic walking tour of delights in downtown Asheville. What a treat. I already knew of the most delightful Library on earth -- the 30,000 seasoned book store/Champaign bar in the Grove Arcade and the funky and very popular Zambra restaurant. The other 6 stops... More

Hank was terrific - personable, knowledgable, kind. He walked at a nice, slow pace and at every stop he made sure we were well taken care of. The choice of "food" locations was perfect. There was more food offered than we could eat in an afternoon. Included Champagne Toast, Chocolate, Farm-to-Table restaurants and a Gourmet Chip tasting. All great fun... More

The tour was a wonderful experience. Insightful down to earth guide is well versed in the craft. Food and presentation spread a light on the ingenuity of the creative artists (Chefs) in town. Overall, a crystal clear view of the ways local produce come to life in Asheville's culinary valley.

We were excited go on the tour as it was our first time in Asheville. Our guide, Stephen, was very knowledgeable about the food and the history of Asheville. After starting off in the bookshop with a sparkling wine toast and a couple of "nibbles", we went to Zambra's for amazing ceviche and fall sangria. The portion and the drink... More
