We had such a great time on the food tour today! It's the perfect way to explore a town that has so much cuisine to offer. Everything we ate was delicious and Hank our guide was very knowledgeable about the city. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Asheville.

I had the most amazing and unique food on this tour. Most of the food I tried I would have never ordered and I would have missed out on some amazing foods. I am so glad I did this it was a culinary experience that was amazing.

We did their "High Roller" tour. We have been on many food tours and this is one of the best. Our tour leader, Casey (sp?), was very personable and informative about the restaurants and chefs, 3 of whom are James Beard nominees. The food was outstanding and there was enough that we didn't bother with dinner afterward. Wine, beer, or... More

The high roller tour was excellent! Eight restaurants in 2.5 hrs. A drink pairing at six. Generous portions. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was great at introducing us to the chefs at each restaurant. Our first food tour and definitely not our last! A great value.

My husband and I have lived in Hendersonville for 5 years but haven't spent much time in Asheville. We decided it's time we learn a thing or two, so started with the West Asheville from Eating Asheville. We arrived early and enjoyed our time at Pour Taproom. When our guides (Hank and Stephen) arrived, we learned we would be on... More

I had a great time on the Eating Asheville tour. It was an excellent way to try local restaurants and get to know the city. Hank was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgable and very personable. I would love to try the other tours they offer.

This was by far the best overall food and drink experience I have had in West Asheville. The restaurants had amazing dishes paired with delicious drinks. The added bonus was the great personal stories shared by the restaurant owners and staff. Eating Asheville guides went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and enjoy themselves in a festive... More

Our group of 5 had a great time. Excellent way to get a sample taste of some of Asheville's restaurants. We knew in advance from web-site that alcohol would not accompany each stop, and we thought the variety of samples was fine. Starting off at the Champagne Bar with a toast is a great idea. We would absolutely recommend this... More

My husband and I did one of these tours a few days ago and while it was a great overview of the city (we covered a lot of geographical space relative to the size of Asheville), the quality of the samples were not all of the same. A couple of quick points of note: 1) Alcohol didn't accompany all tastings... More
