Very much enjoyed our walkabout - make that eatabout and drinkabout! -- with Asheville Food Tours. Owing to a steady rain we puddle-hopped alot. Every location was warm, welcoming and informative about their place in the evolving dining scene there. Not only did the restaurant stops reflect a nice range of cuisines but a honey boutique and olive oil/balsamic vinegar... More

Just didn't gentile on the 24th of July and had a wonderful time great food and got to see downtown. We stopped at 8 great restaurants with a mix of ratting spots and desert/non food stops. It was a great way to see the city and try some different restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone we had Paddy for... More

I went on this tour last year and it was awesome. This year it was even better. You can't go wrong with this tour. Seeing the restaurants from behind the scenes is so much better than just eating at a restaurant. Plus you get into each restaurant very quickly and there is no hassle. Would do it again any day!

Paddy's a stellar guide with a great sense of humor who truly loves his community. Our out-of-state family loved the walking tour of downtown and the variety of restaurants. Even though we're local, we visited several restaurants new to us. It's a delicious way to spend the afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Paddy stopping at 7 different locations for samples for a variety of different cuisines. He provided stories about Asheville's history and architecture as we walked through the city for 3+ hours towards each of the eating establishments. Paddy made sure everyone's dietary restrictions was accommodated for. After the tour, we returned to several stops... More

This was our first-ever food tour, so we didn't know what to expect. We were blown away! Such great food - eight stops on our tour! And the added bonus was the information provided about Asheville as we walked from place-to-place. Definitely a must if you are visiting Asheville!

This was a fantastic way to see downtown Asheville in the short amount of time we had there. We were only passing through for an afternoon and figured this tour would let us see a good variety of the city while there. The food was fantastic! Also, the tour was surprisingly informative and fun. I would highly recommend to anyone... More

Heavy rains were goign to delay our arrival at the step-of point so I texted and left a phone message for Patty, the tour owner/walk leader. He phoned back to say they would wait for us. On the 3+-hour walkabout, he easily made himself heard, usually pausing to speak to us rather than talking while we were walking. The variety... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Paddy. We visited 7 different locations, sampled a wide variety of foods, and met some great people. Paddy was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, lacing his stories with humor and interesting tidbits. This was our first trip into the downtown area and it was a great way to learn our... More

What a blast. Our first food tour (we think we are foodies) could not have been better. Our guide, Paddy, gave us humor, history, lies (his words!) and took us through 8 stops. Great balance of food, specialty stores (chocolate, honey, olive oil) brewery and a teeny cocktail. Visited places would not really have gone to on our own. Not... More
