I have done both the downtown and Biltmore Square Tours and they are both excellent! Chris is a wonderful host and even gives background on the area while you are walking on the tour. By the time the tour is over you will have eaten enough or more than enough to make a meal. Definitely worth putting #1 on your... More

My party consisted of five adults, and we were all a bit disappointed with this food tour. We have been on two other tours, one in a different area of North Carolina, and one in New York, both of which were amazing and delightful tours. Our host on this tour seemed a bit timid, although he did speak individually to... More

There is a limit of 12 people in the tour which lasts about 3 hours. We went to Chorizo, Vincenzo's, Olive and Kickin', Chai Pani, Kilwin's Chocolate, The Spice and Tea Exchange, and Chocolate Gems. The quantity of food at each stop was impressive compared to other food tours. At the completion of the tour, you receive a passport good... More

www.eatingasheville.com food tour - is fantastic. It is led by two fun and knowledgable guys who know about Asheville and its local food scene. Stops on the tour were a champagne bar/bookstore with a grown up atmosphere and amazing champange, a fine dining restaurant where we were served a nicely plated dish of trout, collards and potato, a chocolate lounge... Restaurants were great! Our favorite was Chorizo...the margarita and chicken quesidilla were amazing! We also enjoyed the Olive and Kickin' store. The olive oils and balsamic vinegars that we sampled were to die for! After the tour, we went back and purchased several bottles. Chris was an excellent host and took care of his guests. We highly recommend! More

My husband and I did a birthday trip and started it off with an Asheville Food Tour! It happened to be a very cold day that day so things were a little off everywhere but we really enjoyed the tour. The guide himself did not offer much in terms of history of the city but every stop had a purveyor... More

This 2 1/2 hour tour (www.eatingasheville.com) is lead by two residents of Asheville who make sure you have a fantastic time on your tour. They keep the group fairly small and very eclectic and you visit approx 6 different locations in Asheville together. At the locations, which include a champagne bar, chocolate lounge, gourmet chip company, tapas restaurant, and fine... More

My wife and I tour on their first Monday tour. We had a blast, the tour guides were fun and friendly. We visited with 5 or 6 different places. Each place had its own flair and uniqueness. We would suggest this to anyone who visits Asheville in the future. I would suggest going early in your stay because they will... More

This was the first thing that my wife and I did when we got to Asheville. We had never been here before and wanted to really get a good feel for the city and the culture. What better way than through a walking food tour! I had read the previous reviews and had expected to visit some really good restaurants... More
