My wife and I had a really great time on this tour. You get a chance to walk downtown Asheville and learn bits of its history, as well as hear about paranormal activity, mysterious murders and deaths. Debra is a knowledgeable and fun guide who has a lot to offer.

If you think historic Montford in Asheville is inhabited by just the living, think again. Debra Maddox of Ghost Hunters of Asheville, gives an amazing walking tour, She knows all of the haunts in Montford, and the history of this beautiful historic district. I experienced the unexplained phenomenon of capturing orbs in my photos, and it was especially cool to... More

We took the Montford tour with Debra. What wasn't to like? The historic homes in the area were gorgeous. And who knew the haunted history of a neighborhood could be so interesting? Montford: The keeper of beautiful homes and spellbinding scandals!

Did this on a whim and turned out to be a great experience. You learn a lot about Asheville from a different perspective -- not just the facts, but the inside scoops. Still not sure what to think about some of the "paranormal" stuff that happened on the tour. Can't explain it, but always thought of myself as a skeptic.

We had a great tour. Have been on a few ghost walks and this was one of the best. We learned a lot about the history of Asheville also.

My friend has a bad hip.We were worried about the mile walk, but Debra did a fantastic job incorporating us into the group and looking out for places for my friend to sit. We made it! Glad we did. Learned a lot about Asheville and its stories

The kids (9,13,14) wanted to do this. Us, not so much. But it was entertaining and the tools they use a big bang for the buck. It was everything the kids had hoped it would be and pretty interesting for the adults too. We'd do it again.

This was our first trip to Asheville. I loved the ghost tour, the history was excellent. We had two awesome tour guides! Good Job! I did get to "speak" to a spirit, which still gives me chills when i think about it! Would definately love to go again!

OK I am trained as a scientist so you can imagine that my mind is trying to find the 'angle' and to explain whatever is happening in 'scientific' terms. My mind was expanded by this tour. A Suggestion: if you decide to take this tour and I recommend that you do, start with an 'open' mind. Debra is very knowledgable... More
