Cat was our guide and is a great knowledgeable local who comes from a long line of locals. She knows a lot about her haunted history, and is quick to debunk myths. We used dosing rods and had a lot of fun. This was more of a haunted history tour than a ghost hunting tour, but thats perfect for me... More

Our guide knew her stuff. Interesting, fun, historical. About two hours. A lot of walking, but stopped frequently to talk. We had 8 people in our group which was a good number. You might like to know in advance that you will be charmingly asked to tip.

My family recently took the downtown ghosts tour from Ghost Hunters of Asheville, and really enjoyed it. We got to see the guts of the newly revitalized city of Asheville and gained an appreciation for its history and architecture. The tour guide, Cat, was incredibly knowledgeable about Asheville and all its colorful history and happenings, and she shared many fun... More

Our ghost tour of Downtown Asheville with Brain was outstanding - all we had expected and more! Since the tour, we've gone back several times just because he so thoroughly sparked our curiosity. WELL worth the time and money - truly memorable!

I booked the Montford tour and really enjoyed it. Didn't realize how much I didn't know about the history of Asheville and the Montford area. Had fun and learned a lot. I will definitely book the downtown tour next time I am in town.

I had a great experience with Ghost Hunters of Asheville and recommend it for everyone. My tour director was the owner of Ghost Hunters, Debra Maddox. She provided several pieces of equipment to detect anomalies, and even suggested cameras and camera settings to "see" the usually invisible. She knew her Asheville history, which is my particular hot button. She is... More

My husband and I had a great time on the tour. We learned a lot about the city of Asheville, and we got all sorts of weird stuff in our photos. Another family on the tour had buildings completely disappear out of their photos - creepy! Kat our guide was terrific and knew a lot about the city and things... More

I was a little worried about taking this tour, since there seemed to be so many varying reviews online, but it is completely worth every dollar you pay to do it. I have been on several other ghost tours in my life, and this was the best. Our guides name was Cat (like the animal) and she was by far... More

I forget the tour guide's name but he was very knowledgable of the community and city. We really enjoyed hearing the history of Asheville and seeing all the historic places where these ghost stories originated. Everyone from the guy we checked in with to the tour guide and the trolley driver were just so polite and professional we would recommend... More

Deb was great. This was a last minute idea and we are so glad we did it. We learned so much about downtown and it got spooky! We had 10 people go and everyone had at least one scare! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!!
