This is the terminus for the trolley tours. It's a typical visitor centre with shop and information desk. It was clean and modern and there seemed to be sufficient staff, but I was surprised that, when I asked for the phone number for a taxi, they didn't have one to hand and struggled to find one

This visitor center is packed full of useful information. It is neatly arranged by topic (restaurant menus; attractions; shopping; relocation). Tickets can be purchased for some attractions, including the Trolley, which can also be picked up right out front. There were plenty of staff members available to help make useful suggestions, based on our interests. A gift store is also... More

There's no fine dining or wine tasting, but a stop by the Visitor Center is worth the few minutes it takes to pick up maps and browse the many brochures for ideas that interest you.

If you are visiting Asheville, make the Visitor Center one of your first stops. Hundreds of brochures and maps for anything and everything you could imagine. Very helpful staff offering recommendations and tips. This is also where a couple of the trolley tours depart.

You can learn a lot about things to do in Asheville at the visitor's center, they have brochures and maps of the area. The staff can tell you where the best places to eat and hike and just relax can be found. There are also some very eclectic souvenirs to be found there as well.

If you're a first time visitor to Asheville, this is a must for you to visit. It has ample parking and a great staff to help you choose what works best for you. If you didn't already make your reservations for the Biltmore Estate, there's a desk there with a very helpful attendant. Hint: book your estate tour online at... More

After checking into our hotel, we stopped at the visitor's center. The women who were working that day we very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions, helped us with which type of ticket that we would need for the Biltmore and gave us a lot of helpful maps and brochures. Be sure and stop here, before you... They had every pamphlet and flyer you could ever need for your trip to Asheville. Great location, with free parking. We parked there and walked all around downtown. The gift shop was a bit overpriced for really generic stuff, but overall it's a great little facility.
