Lots of vendors and lots of variety. Not kid-friendly. Great rainy-day venue for adult visitors. We were there for a couple of hours, and the kids got very restless. There was only one small area for children (ages 3 and up) to create prints.

Visiting The Southern Craft Guild show and very impressed with the facility. Convenient ramps, restrooms and spacious for the numerous exhibitors. Friendly staff and well located near the Asheville downtown sites. Convenient, reasonable parking nearby

We took our daughter to see Hunter Hayes @ the U.S. Cellular Center on Easter weekend & had a blast!! Not only was the performer phenomenal but the venue made us feel as though we were sitting with Hunter having a private concert. There isn't a bad seat in the house & since Hayes set up 3 stages, in total,... More

Great venue for basketball with a few exceptions. The food prices are outrageous. Small hot dog $6.00. Must pay for a wrist band to buy beer. The popcorn was stale. The ushers act like seat police even when there are only a few hundred people. Asheville is a great city but the concessions and ushers made a nice trip not... More

I recently saw Celtic Woman at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. I was on the 12th row but it felt like I was in a valley. The front row is the highest row, then it sags in the middle before evening out and inclining in the very back like a loge section. The only upper decks are on the side. It... More

This is definitely not the Asheville Civic Center, but rather looks like a local motel. I'm typing this additional line due to the fact that the review requires 100 characters minimum.

A great medium sized arena that brings in some top shelf acts. Without the Civic Center, I'd be driving pretty far to see/hear some of the artists that I love.

The Civic Center holds some great events--sports, concerts and all manner of shows. However, the center is badly in need of renovation. Though the outward appearance is outdated, something could be done to improve the interior design and seating.

The Civic center is fine for what it is. Seems like they have improved the ventilation system and maybe added more seats? The Jam is the reason to be there, everything else is sort of unimportant!

Needs a major face-lift, parking needs to be increased. The civic center is fine for a convection, but the Thomas Wolfe inside the center is a much better concert venue.
