This is a dedicated group that puts on a fabulous show. Alligators, snakes, turtles...we even saw a crocodile. They are also a rescue group. There are also well informed youngsters helping entertain and educate and they are very good with the guest (especially children of the guest). This is not a fancy facility but it is very practical. Great fun.... More

Our 8 yr old boy had a great time. He learned so much and he was so excited. He said over and over how happy he was and how much fun he was having. We bought the adventure ticket so he could touch & hold a small gator and also wade in pool with gators. He also got to sit... More

We drove into Houston from Shreveport and purposely did not eat the whole way to have an appetite when we arrived here. I knew it had been some time since we had been there but when we had been the kids loved tossing fries to the gators, as did I. We showed only to be told the restaurant portion had... More

We bought package #1 - the kids got to catch small alligators in the pool, hold baby alligators, feed big ones, watch a show with the largest known alligator in captivity and sit on a live gator and get their picture taken. They had a blast! Well worth it after a bust of a "swamp" tour in Louisiana!

We had a great time. The kids really enjoyed getting in the pool to handle the baby gators. The snake roundup was pretty interesting too.

My boys and I enjoyed the park. It was a fun afternoon trip, less than a 30 minute drive. I didn't notice the restaurant. We'll try it next time. There was an awful smell due to a feeding mishap-lots of rotting turkey and fish. But we managed to ignore it for the most part. The most exciting attraction was swimming... More

This live animal experience is educational on reptiles for the entire family. You get to see gators up close and actually touch and swim with small ones in a pool if you want to do that. And their are other reptiles such as snakes that you learn about and get to touch. There are several ponds with boardwalks where you... More

After seeing Gator 911 on AMC I had to check out Gator Country while I was visiting Houston, TX since Beaumont is about an hour away. Met with the owner and since we were the only group of people that had showed up on a Sunday we were given a private tour of the park. We were taken into the... More

We were the first ones there June 5th 2014. Admission is a bit much but it's okay because it feeds the animals. Our guide was Christina. She knows her stuff. We got to touch a few animals. The thing we liked the most was the little show with big Al.. Some guy would make Big Al snap his mouth..it was... More

This place was pretty cool. I DEFINITELY recommend getting an "adventure package" compared to just the general admission. It's like $10 more and you actually get to wade in a little pool with baby alligators and hold them. You also get to sit on a big one and take a pic with the package deal. I think I would have...
