I am a zoo fan and saw this location driving down I-10 and thought we would give it a shot in the hopes of seeing some great animals. All I can say is this may very well be the worst animal facility I have ever visited. I'm not sure how they manage to stay out of trouble with various wildlife... More

I believe the restaurant is now closed but the park is open. The tour is relatively short but educational. Guides are very knowledgable and professional.

Fun place to take the kids, but timing is everything. Right when you arrive, the kids will immediately be exposed to a host of alligators that are in a sanctuary right at the entrance of the park, so things get started quickly. The issue is that if you don't time it right, you'll either be waiting forever, or you may... More

Not worth the time or money. Brought my family from Selmer,TN After my husband played we took a self walk thru the tour. One gentlemen aloud my daughter to hold a snake. Then nothing. Several workers walked past us without even speaking. I understand they may have bee. Tendon to one particular alligator that just came in. But with the... More

We went on a Tuesday at 10:30am. No other customers. The intern walked us around entire park giving us information/q&a at every cage. He also took out every creature he could possibly let us hold, touch, or see up close. It's still technically winter so no shows but we got was better in my option. My daughter and I had... More

First off, the staff at Gator Country LOVE what they do, and are passionate about educating the public about these awesome creatures! They make their presentations fun for the kids, but not too silly so the adults don't enjoy them as well. If you get the chance, make sure you ask to hold one of the hatchlings... it's amazing to... This place is a blast. The owners are personable and accommodating. You can tell they truly love taking care of alligators. I went during the winter, so they couldn't do the normal outdoor show, but that also means the tour group was much smaller and we got much more personalized attention. We got to hold a variety of alligators, including... More

I went here with my family of 5. I received a military discount which brought our admission price down to $64, which I think is a lot of money. We walked outside and saw a lot of alligators but felt like the enclosures and the park itself was kind of run down compared to what we've seen in the past.... More

We were there att opening, so not much people. The staff was very great and had time to spend with us. They told us about all the animals and let us hold a python, a couple of gators and a lizzard. Very exiting. Super memory from our road trip.
