When someone says 'post office' the image of a large fancy building may come to mind. So stop here when you're on the Tamiami Trail. It's the smallest one anywhere. My garden shed is biggger! A unique place for sure, another south Florida curiosity that adds character to a road trip across Florida. More

Send home a postcard and get a famous postmark. Girls are very nice and helpful. People come from around the world to see this. More

Nice quick stop. Chatted with the post office worker who has worked there for years. Bought post card stamps and mailed cards from the office. Nice quick photo op. More

The post office wasn't open when we drove by but we stopped just to say we were there. It really is a shoe box of a place and I'm sure you couldn't send any packages. Aside from historic value there isn't much to see. More

We went there three times and it was closed every time, despite our visits being during opening hours. It was very funny but none of our family will be getting their special postcards. We'll email them instead. More

Unfortunately they weren't open when we mailed our postcards so we couldn't buy the special ones they sell here, but learning the story of why it's here and how big Ochopee used to be was interesting and fun. More

This very small Post office was said to be the smallest in the USA dealt with the sale of stamps and hand franking our postcards - an unexpected bonus in the back of beyond. More

Just to say you have done it, you might as well stop, there isn't much here except a small post office however, it is on the road through the everglades so you might as well! Good for a picture stop More

This is a classic tourist place to send a postcard from. The post office is manned with regular hours and is essentially an undersized garden shed. More
