Had an amazing morning learning the basics of rock climbing with Eric. Obviously experienced and knowledgeable, Eric instantly put me at ease (I have a fear of heights). Throughout the morning, he encouraged me and built my confidence. I trusted him implicitly and had a fantastic introduction to outdoor rock climbing.

Went out with Eric and a party of 4 friends. Many had not been rappelling etc and Eric made the trip a breeze. Always upbeat, encouraging and with tons of knowledge on the topography and history of the canyons explored. Great day and highly recommended trip!

Windgate was recommended to us by a friend who had gone canyoneering with him a couple years ago and also had a great time. I can't thank her enough for the recommendation. I didn't really know what to expect as I had never been canyoneering before, but Eric exceeded all expectations. There were three of us: a very athletic gal... More

Although not suggested to go at alone. As you'll remember, this was the subject of that one movie, I think it was 127 Hours or something where James Franco's character got his arm wedged betwixt canyon rock wallage and hadda cut it off to survive. Never hike alone. But do take your friends and family and enjoy some of the... More

Eric was fantastic in every way we hoped for. He is a funny guide who knows the history and geography of the area. He is a crackerjack photographer as well and gave my wife and I several pointers on how to take better pictures. It was my first time climbing and I was completely at ease. We took a climbing... Eric at Windgate was a wonderful guide. He took time to explain all of the interesting features of the fiery furnace and allowed lot of opportunities for taking photos. He even took photos of his own and sent them to us after the hike. I highly recommend the fiery furnace hike with Eric.

Can not say enough good things about Eric and this tour! Our family of 3 — two adults, 14 year old son — got the most personal of attention as Eric took us through the Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park. This "unmarked" trail through a maze like section of the park featured tight squeezes, and some decent climbs and... More

Eric at Windgate is fantastic. He took my husband and two children on an unforgettable rappelling/hiking experience. They raved about him and cannot wait to go back. We highly recommend booking with Eric for a superb rappelling trip.
