From the perspective of Moab's reputation as a rough little hiking base, this is a nice golf course. Given the harsh heat, I wasn't expecting much, but found nicely groomed conditions, very friendly and accommodating staff and a thoughtful layout. And, of course, glorious views of the red rocks all around you! I was the first single out at 7... More

Have played here in the past on several occasions and found this time it was in the best shape it has been in for some time. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Overall this is a very fun course to play as it has many challenging holes and easy ones as well. Staff is very friendly and engaging. When... More

Our initial impression of Moab Golf Club from the road was not good. The club house seemed just a large shed with snack bar. We almost didn't stay to play. What a mistake that would have been! Staff were friendly. Rates were reasonable -- $76 for two. Even less expensive rates can be found online. The course was in immaculate... More

Played here many times in the past and it was in best shape I've seen it. Greens rolled reasonably fast and fairways where mostly grown in considering its April. Unfortunately, I was on my way back from Scottsdale AZ where I played tour style desert courses so this was a step or two down but for the price and where... More

There is only one course in Moab and area and this is a gem. Older but great staff and some really interesting holes. Loved playing along the red rock canyons. It plays fairly fast as most players are local and know the course but take time to catch the views. Good condition on fairways and greens. Worthwhile playing. Great for... More

I play this course a few times each year with my husband, who is a member. As this is the only golf course in Moab, it is obviously the best. We've personally never had any issues with staff and the course usually plays quickly. This is a desert course so a ball off the fairway is quickly lost in scrub... More

This would have been a great experience except for a greens keeper who cursed us when we asked him to get off a green and then followed us in an attempt to intimidate us, leaving his machine running as we tried to play. It gave us the impression that they do not like outsiders. The woman at the desk was... More

Moab Golf course is a very scenic course with great views of the red rocks of Moab. I am an average golfer and Moab is one of my favorite courses. The course is kept up nicely, price and value you will be happy with and the staff is always friendly. Rob is the local pro and instructor, if you have... More

Great public course! Nothing fancy, but who needs fancy when you've got beautiful views and a well kept course. Greens were in great shape. Our 4-some played on a Saturday morning and we were practically the only group on the course. I belong to a private course in Arizona, and I would highly recommend this course. Very friendly staff and... More

The front-nine of Moab Golf Club is an experience not to be missed, with a couple holes right up against red rock cliffs. The other holes are well designed and course condition is usually good. While I wouldn't say Moab Golf Club is a destination location, it is well worth your time if you are in the Moab area and... More
