Went with 10 and 13 year old, we had a blast!!!! I would do this again in a heartbeat with the kids. It was not really tough rapids, but enjoyable and somewhat tame. Made it fun so the kids could swim and play!

Okay, my review is a bit long but it's worth it! We are a French family of four with two teenagers of 15 and 13 (boy and girl) and we had one of the best times of our life on the river in August! Rafting through Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park from Moab to Lake Powell. 28 Grand Canyon... More

From Moab, the Colorado river is pretty tame. Expect class 2 rapids. Very scenic and relaxing. There are a couple of cliff jumping areas that picks up the excitment.

This was a great way to see the rocks at river level. Captain Andrew had many stories about all the movies made in the area. Showed us where Thelma &Louise went off the cliff. Also pointed out the trails the jeeps would take high up on the rocks. The cookies he made were great! Highly recommend this ride.

A jet boat ride, which includes dinner, Fantastic views as you travel about 18 miles down the river and back. Our guide was a local who has lived in Moab all his life and was very knowledgeable, knew the history of the river, showed us the Petroglyphs and gave some background on Moab. Dinner was all you can eat buffet... More

Booked with Canyon Voyages through Highpoint Tours, who also arranged a very good Hummer Evening Trip, as part of a package. The lady at Highpoint was extremely helpful in explaining the best package and how to organise our day, including helping us to fit in an early morning flight with Redtail Aviation On a hot day, this was actually a... We took the nighttime trip with the light show. My husband really enjoyed it but I think a daytime trip would have been better for me. It was of course cooler at night and we were there in August. The food was very good. It was BBQ and all you can eat!! They had a cash bar and the service... More

I went on this jet boat ride, which included dinner, September, 2013. I thought it would be okay but the boat ride was much better than I'd expected. The guide was very knowledgeable, told a lot about the history of the river, pointed out Petroglyphs (cave markings by early man), and gave some background on the local (Moab, UT) history.... More

A smooth water float trip - 15 spectacular miles of Colorado River...quiet, peaceful, spectacular views. Begins at the Glen Canyon Dam returning to the same point...with explanations by our lovely guide, Cheyenne. The dam soars nearly 600 feet above you...an amazing sight. The motorised pontoon raft is family safe. The soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue- green waters, wildlife, native cultures... More

We did a three day trip with Holiday River Expeditions! This was our second trip with them. A topnotch, well run, and very well respected outfitter. Our final night's feast was flier mignon and salmon! Nothing beats sleeping under the stars (we don't use a tent) and the guides are terrific. Recommend them highly.
