We took the nighttime trip with the light show. My husband really enjoyed it but I think a daytime trip would have been better for me. It was of course cooler at night and we were there in August. The food was very good. It was BBQ and all you can eat!! They had a cash bar and the service... More

I went on this jet boat ride, which included dinner, September, 2013. I thought it would be okay but the boat ride was much better than I'd expected. The guide was very knowledgeable, told a lot about the history of the river, pointed out Petroglyphs (cave markings by early man), and gave some background on the local (Moab, UT) history.... More

A smooth water float trip - 15 spectacular miles of Colorado River...quiet, peaceful, spectacular views. Begins at the Glen Canyon Dam returning to the same point...with explanations by our lovely guide, Cheyenne. The dam soars nearly 600 feet above you...an amazing sight. The motorised pontoon raft is family safe. The soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue- green waters, wildlife, native cultures... More

We did a three day trip with Holiday River Expeditions! This was our second trip with them. A topnotch, well run, and very well respected outfitter. Our final night's feast was flier mignon and salmon! Nothing beats sleeping under the stars (we don't use a tent) and the guides are terrific. Recommend them highly.

This was a fun rafting ride for a family with 2 kids and a grandma who came too. There are a lot of calm slow areas on the river with a handful of little rapids. The Adventure Center staff were all wonderful and tried to help keep us entertained during the "slow" sections of the river. We did the "Full... More

We decided to take the evening tour down the Colorado River in Moab and it was one of my favorite tours I have ever taken.

Having rafted in Alaska, Borneo, Vietnam and New Zealand, I was expecting great things of the Colorado river. I was not disappointed. The rapids were extremely tame with only a brief class III section. However, that didn't matter as the views of the canyon walls in the Fisher Towers section of the river will remain with me forever. I shall... More

It was very hot when we visited. We had not planned to raft, but we came in the scenic highway along the Colorado River and having met river rafting decided to spend a half day on the river. WELL WORTH IT!!

Pretty mellow ride as whitewater rafting goes. Class 1, 2, & 3 rapids with slow and mellow lazy river in between. But if you have kids or simply want to soak in the scenery, nice trip. We did the whole day trip and stopped for a BBQ lunch. Food was fine. Our guide McKay told good stories and accommodated the... More
