Half day, evening rappelling trip with three boys, 16, 14 and 11. My sons had the best time, and took incredible pictures and videos to impress their friends. After the rappels, you take a 2 mile hike out of Negro Bill Canyon, which is beautiful. The evening hike was the best choice, because it was cool. Our guide Chris was... More

As Hoosiers visiting Moab, we had the pleasure of working with Cliffs and Canyons earlier this month, and my 16-year-old grandson, Sam, thoroughly enjoyed his first rock-climbing experience. Our guide, Matt, was excellent and our private lesson enabled him to devote full attention to Sam, offering both instruction and words of encouragement. He spent five hours with us and we... More

The rappelling was awesome. Easy for a beginner. We would do it again. I was under the impression that we would rappel off of Morning Glory bridge. We did not. We rappelled off the wall next to the bridge. But there is still a free rappel as the wall curves away from you. The hike out was not a nature... More

My family of 5 (children 17 yrs. and above) had a great day 'Canyoneering" ! We did Hypatia Canyon, and it was far beyond our expectations. Guides, Mia and John, were very professional, personable, and patient. These trips are crazy fun, with the climbing, scooting, wading thru water and repels...plus the views! they have a very good website, so make... More

We had a wonderful half day hiking trip in Arches National Park. Riley was our guide for the day in the "Fiery Furnace," and was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about the local and the particular hike. He was very careful to educate us, and was both safety and environmentally mindful. It was very clear that he was interested in providing... More

We toured Moab, Bryce and Zion. Moab and arches were our favorite vistas. The Historical Hway is with the drive. 128 I believe. The weather in late May ranches from quite warm to stormy with hail. Bring layers and a rain jacket. Lots if photo opportunities too!

Spent Memorial day weekend in Moab. We did the Chamisa Trip and had a wonderful time learning the basics of canyoneering. Our instructor was excellent. This is our second time with Cliffs and Canyons.

We were advised to hike the fiery furnace with a guide because it's so easy to get lost in its labyrinths. Joe not only knew his way around, but explored new side canyons to give other groups a wider berth. He really knew the geology and explained it well, was very patient with us seniors and artfully helped us through... More

My sister and I booked a half day rock climbing session and it was such a great experience. Our guide tailored his approach to our style and learning preferences. I would definitely book with Moab Cliffs and Canyons again.

I climbed Ancient Arts tower with Chris. I had previous climbing experience, but have never climbed a tower before. Chris was a wonderful guide. Ancient Arts is fairly exposed compared to what I'm used to - there is a narrow ledge to walk across and the summit is just big enough to stand on. He was patient, but also encouraging,... More
