Heather was the guide for my family's first canyoneering and rappelling trip, and she was excellent!! She taught us climbing techniques and was very patient with all of us, especially my 11 year old who needed some extra encouragement during the first rappel. Cliffs and Canyons provided water and snacks, as well as all the equipment you need. They did... More

If you want to get to know the terrain around Moab in an up-close-and-personal way, this is it. Our group of 7 had two guides who took care of the driving, the belaying, advice, encouragement and pictures too. During 3/4 of a day we probably only covered a few miles horizontally but a lot of terrain vertically as we descended... More

Our family took the Hypatia Canyon 3/4 day trip. It had everything you could hope for. The climbing was fun and interesting, the views beautiful and the rappels spectacular. Riley was wonderful and made everyone comfortable with every aspect of the trip from scrambling between boulders, jumping into cool water or dangling off the edge of the canyon. I had... More

We spent today driving through the Arches and Needles/Canyonland Park near Moab, Utah. Most awesome sights you will ever see, the rocks that were formed million years ago is too difficult to describe. It's one of those saying "you have to be there". We were unable to hike, so missed some of the views. The roads are fine and today... More

We did the 1/2 day canyoneering trip to Chimsa Canyon with our two 9 year olds. The hike and the guide were fantastic. Between the rock scrambling, the wading through the water, and the repelling we had a blast. The guide made sure we were safe and took us at our own pace. Be warned, that when they tell you,... More

We are glad that you and your 9 year olds enjoyed the trip. Chamisa Canyon is one of our favorites and now you know why. We love wading through the water and are glad you didn't mind getting wet. We think that is half the fun! More

My husband and I did the Hypatia Canyon 3/4 day trip and it was awesome! It included three rappels and I had never rappelled before so I was quite nervous about it. However, I felt completely comfortable with Riley, our guide, and was easily able to successfully complete all three rappels. Riley had a great attitude the entire trip and... More

We are so happy you had such a great time in Hypatia Canyon. It's great to hear that Riley took good care of you and could help make the trip so enjoyable. Canyoneering with Moab Cliffs and Canyons is a safe way to overcome such nervousness. More

Fantastic scenery! It is no wonder so many westerns were filmed here. We traveled with Globus through five national parks. Arches and Canyonlands were two of them. It was 100 degrees when we were there, with 15% humidity. So different from the east coast. GO!! You will not be disappointed

We were in town for the yearly Jeeping event over Easter weekend. We spent a lot of time out with the other jeeps in the rock gardens and trails. It was such an amazing time. The views, the landscape, everything was wonderful. I have heard it can be rather warm in the summer but the weather was great for us!!!!

Our family was in Moab for several days and we allowed our teenage boys to decide which activities they wanted to try. Our 15 year old chose rock climbing and I confess I was less than enthusiastic about it, but all of us went along. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!! I can't recommend this highly enough. Jerome is a knowledgeable and... More

What a day. Canyoneering a family first so started with the Ephedra's Grotto outing. This was a perfect intro, not too difficult but challenging enough. Riley took his time making sure all was safe and fun throughout the day.
