Most of our adventures require no previous experience to enjoy! Canyoneering uses specialized equipment and techniques, including rappelling, to negotiate wet and dry canyons of varying difficulties. All trips have an important educational component to promote a deeper appreciation for our natural landscape. We are Moab’s oldest and most experienced climbing and canyoneering guide service. Half, full, and multi-day trips. Visit our website for more information on all our rock climbing and canyoneering adventures. Check us out on Facebook to see more photos of our adventures! « less

This was my second time using Moab Cliffs and Canyons. On our first trip we did Climbing only. That was a hit so we came back for the rockaneering. We had an excellent, safety conscious, knowledgeable guide-Jerome. Took my three sons, ages 7, 13 and 15. Did 3 rappels and he shined when my youngest was afraid of the rappel.... More

I have a terrible fear of going from up here to down there. No skiing, zip lines, roller coasters etc for me. Despite this fear the great guide from Cliff and Canyons reassured me and made my first 2 rappels a great experience. I am an overweight 60 year old female whose family was sure that I would not make... More

I did Ephedra’s Grotto with this outfitter and had a wonderful time. The group was just the right size that you had people to chat with while waiting to repel but not so large that you felt like you were unnoticed among the group. Our safety and comfort were our guides priority and of course having a good time. We... More

We did Hypatia Canyon, with 3 rappels and quite a bit of scrambling in between along the trail. Jerome was our guide. He took great care of us, and I especially liked how he coaxed along my two kids, ages 11 and 15. Highly recommend!

Our family of four did the ephedras grotto trip with another family and solo traveller. Staff was helpful and getting started was a breeze. Hike in was easy and fun and Riley our guide shared some stories about the environment and history of the area. Went through a little slot canyon and he was helpful and patient. First rappel was... Can't recommend this company and tour trip highly enough. We got lucky and there were only 4 of us on our trip, so it was a nice intimate environment - much appreciated by me since I was nervous about my first time rappelling! JEROME, the tour guide was phenomenal! Friendly, super knowledgeable, and EXTREMELY sensitive and cautious when leading our... More

I think everyone will agree on the beautiful part! Beautiful hiking and rappeling! My girlfriend and I booked this trip as another fun way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Moab area. I look forward to doing more and bigger trips with these guys in the future. The relaxing part has everything to do with your own perspective. The... More

Important points: -If you are thinking about doing a canyoneering trip BOOK IN ADVANCE. We really struggled to get something lined up in Moab, Cliffs and Canyons was very easy to work with, but many other tour companies did not even return phone calls or emails. -Our group didn't pass a single other canyoneer the whole day, really contributed to...
