This was "BAMM" to end an AMAZING trip, what we got is not even closed of what is promised on their website. We got there before sunrise and the crew got there late, so no chance to see the sun rise on the trip. We waited for a while and they were not set-up at all. They took us to... More

The scenery was dramatic and ever changing. We flew low over flatlands where we could see the details of the landscape and soared over high walls of canyons. The many colors and shapes that nature provided could only be enjoyed from our vantage point as we followed the winds. The drive back to the takeoff site emphasized how little you... More

Lou and his crew obviously enjoy their work and it shows! We had a group of 8 that wanted to take a trip in a balloon, and even though weather was a problem, Lou went completely out of his way to find an area that wasn't experiencing the on and off storms that Moab proper was receiving. The trip itself... More

My 12 year old daughter and I did a Daddy/Daughter adventure in Moab for a few days (hiking, camping, rafting, zip lining), but the highlight was the Hot Air Balloon ride with Canyonlands Ballooning. Lou was a great pilot with a ton of experience. We were up in his brand new balloon, which was beautiful. The basket was large and... More

Because of weather, we were able to re-schedule our flight to a day earlier, however on that day, we were unable to fly. We were also lucky again because we were able to reschedule the next day. After rising two consecutive mornings very early we did fly. What was very, very evident with these two experiences was the safety attitude... More

A hot air balloon flight over gorgeous red rock scenery--what could be better? An entertaining and skilled pilot, a beautiful colorful balloon, and one of the ground crew emailing you free photos afterwards. What a dream! I was surprised at how easy it was, since I'm usually afraid of heights, but you just float off the ground and I was... More

Very well orchestrated. The balloon was all laid out and ready to inflate. You got to watch the process, which was interesting and surprisingly fast. The pilot was very friendly and very professional. He was able to find the winds on a very calm day. We were able to go high and down low into some canyons. Touch down was... More

Meeting Lou and his team culminated in a dream I have had my whole life to go up in a hot air balloon. We were in this area a year ago and we saw the balloons every morning. My wife and I decided that on our next visit we would indulge ourselves. We brought my 79 year old Mother in... More

It was raining all week and Lou went far out of his way to find a solution and get us in the air. He had us driven just a bit further away so that we could avoid the weather and we had a beautiful scenic flight. He's an excellent pilot and all of the staff was extremely friendly. It was... More

I did this trip with Lou and it was awesome! Smooth flight, great views!! Lou is very experienced with handling the balloon and the flight ranged from gliding 20 feet above the desert brush up to 2000 feet above the canyons! I would not hesitate to do this trip again. I booked this flight through one of the adventure companies... More
