A great experience in the Moab area is a balloon trip. One of the few times in your life you will follow mother nature and enjoy the beautiful view of the Canyonland from above. The excellent service from the whole staff was outstanding. Not to mention the skipper, we give him high five.😎 Ann og Bo Denmark

This was my second hot air balloon ride and it was great! There were five in our group, one senior, two adults and two boys ages 11 & 13. It was the highlight of our 6 day Moab Adventure. Our Pilot - Lou was wonderful and shared a lot of history and geology of the area, also recommended some good... More

We were a party of 5, and for all of us, this was our first balloon trip. Two were a little apprehensive, but willing to try. We had read Canyonlands extensive site, so we knew we might get a short trip over flat lands, a longer trip over the canyons, or anything in between. We lucked out into a longer... More

We had a wonderful first balloon ride with Lou and Canyonlands Ballooning. The trip was breathtaking, exhilirating and down-right fantastic. Lou did a great job throughout the flight - he was a true professional. My husband and seven year old son also had a great time.

My wife and I were recently in Moab and took a flight with Lou and the Canyonlands Ballooning crew. It was outstanding fun. First, our original booking was canceled due to high winds but even then the crew took the time to try a couple of different launch sites in the hopes that we'd get off the ground. Safety first... Amazing views, great short hikes. Take lots of food and water. Plan on multiple visits if you want to do much of the park.

We took a ride on our first day in Moab. IT WAS AWSOME! Our first time ballooning and it was wonderful. Lou (pilot) and crew all did a GREAT job. Dave, the first contact person (driving the van) and all the guys really worked hard and were super nice. Booking was easy and the whole trip was flawless. I HIGHLY... More

This is a must do if you go to Moab. The staff is professional and funny. This was a 21st birthday trip for my daughter, she was very reluctant at first but loved the ride gliding over the arches.

My partner and I went on the last flight of the season on Nov. 12th. From booking to the landing of the balloon, it was a good experience. The owner / pilot and his wife were both relaxed, easy to communicate with and made the experience fantastic. We dipped down into a canyon on the flight (picture posted), which was... More

On October 1, 2013, the federal government shutdown and access to Arches National Park was closed. We called Canyonlands Ballooning on October 3, and to our surprise and luck, were able to get on a tour for Friday (10/4). We arrived at the meeting place and everyone showed up on time. There was ample parking and safe. The sun was... More
